Was woken at 5.am by people walking about upstairs The rooms did not have good sound proofing. Someone tried to get into our room at about 11pm, probably been drinking. Didn’t feel the corridor outside was secure from intruders

Didn’t have breakfast. Dinner was very good. Staff were excellent. Rooms were clean, and new. Bed was a great size and comfortable.

The Staunton Arms was in a lovely quiet country location with excellent pub food, the Roast Belly Pork was exceptional. Our room was spacious and spotlessly cleaned the queen sized bed was so comfortable, we haven't slept so well for ages. Great breakfast with freshly baked croissants and the staff we lovely too.

Everything was good.

The staff were very helpful. The whole process of booking in was very easy. The rooms are a good size they have big bathrooms lots of tea and coffee provided. The food in the staunton arms is of an incredibly high standard and very good value for money. The setting is very picturesque. It's probably the best place we have stayed in. Little touches around the place show incredible attention to detail, such as sun tan lotion by the outside area. Parking is available and has good access to the rooms. We stayed as we were at an event at Belvoir Castle. It was a fifteen minute drive to the venue. The staunton arms seems to be popular with locals and is a testament to the culture of top-notch service and attention to detail.

We loved our stay at the Staunton Arms. Everyone we spoke to that worked there was lovely, friendly and professional. We enjoyed a drink outside on the patio in the pub. Breakfast was very tasty. We slept very well. We were in the room near the kitchen but weren't troubled by any kitchen noise (I am quite a deep sleeper though). There is a car park too despite what the description said.

Slightly dusty in the room. But overall was very clean.

We got a family room and it was really spacious. Interior was modern and beds were comfortable. There were enough towels and toilet roll in the room. The staff were fantastic and so courteous from check-in to getting dinner in the evening as well as getting our breakfast order prepped for our early morning start. Breakfast was delicious.

The emergency light in the bathroom which stays on makes the room very light but i just closed the door. And maybe as the bathroom is very big it could of been fitted with a larger bath as the room is there.

A car is essential it truly is in the middle of nowhere and taxis are thin on the ground.

It’s a busy country pub with good beer and great food. The it’s a true destination venue (there’s nothing else there) and well worth a visit. The rooms are in a the extension all recently refurbished very comfortable beds and modern en-suites and the breakfast was outstanding.
