Only one eating option close to the hotel otherwise it was a trip into Liverpool for a better selection of restaurants and bars.

The location is excellent. The hotel is a little dated, but that was reflected in the price. The staff were welcoming and the hotel although dated, was clean.

Similar to a Premier Inn, but without the breakfast. Comfortable beds. Tea and Coffee in the room. Good shower. The Toby Carvery next door did a cooked breakfast buffet. We were also able to get dinner from the carvery at 9pm.

Needs a complete refurbishment… tired looking Travelodge now. Bathroom tiles cracked, grouting discoloured .. shower curtain stained. Beverages available, no biscuits TV tiny. Walls very thin, could hear snoring next door and what sounded like an elephant walking about upstairs!!! No breakfast provided making cost of stay very expensive. One room up the corridor had the door open and light on all the time of our 2day stay… inside the bed was dismantled and the room was full of furniture?

Ex proximity to Aintree racecourse Beds very comfortable and clean Staff very friendly

Shame there isn't a breakfast option at hotel but there is Toby Carvery across the road. Also TV quite small compared to other hotels I've stayed at but at least we did have one.

Comfortable beds, clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. Great location for train to City Centre. Was pleased with hairdryer as wasn't sure there would be one.

Around 7am, there was a lot of doors banging shut, I'm guessing people were leaving but it was frustrating. Maybe some soft closing doors would help...

Staff provided enough beds for our stay and called beforehand check on the number of people staying

As we only stayed over night we couldn’t fault our stay

The location was just right. We visited the university hospital from over seas. It was quiet and peaceful which suited my elderly mum. The receptionist was helpful with our onward travel and everything went smoothly. Thank you

Rooms were a bit tired, beds old and worn out but comfortable for overnight stay. Breakfast not starting through pub opposite until 8am, people were waiting outside in the rain.

Location, close to train station, short walk, and Toby Carvery for the evening meal which was excellent and great value. Breakfast didn't start until 8am in pub opposite, people stood and waiting outside in the rain, we had to leave, so missed breakfast, first time in ages.
