We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe apartment we had was a bit small and awkwardly shaped - the photos online are of various apartments, so it's not clear which apartment you'll get until you actually get there. The door to the master bedroom couldn't close because the bed and huge fluffy rug) were in the way, and the other single bedroom was tiny. The beds were uncomfortable and creaky too, unfortunately. The bathroom floorboards and cupboards were a bit warped from the water, and the shower was a nightmare to operate - kept spraying everywhere! If you're driving, it's great they have a parking spot for you, but it's super tight to get into it so good luck! Also, we wanted to check in a bit earlier and requested to do so ahead of time but just got a "Check in is at 3pm" response. There was no other communication during our stay. Overall the apartment was basic, but the location is great.
The apartment is in a great location - super close walking distance to the high street and very close to lots of restaurants and shops. The kitchen was clean and had new sponges, and it was useful to have a functional washing machine and drying rack. The apartment also comes with free parking (although it's a tight squeeze)!

Only one double bed and a single bed, we had to use an infllatable bed in the lounge/kitchen, but Ideal if it is just a couple or a couple with a child. Great location just a couple off minutes walk from the high street. Great parking too . Sofas were super uncomfortable.
Friendly host really good location. Lovely modern apartment. Great bath and shower.

The property was in a great location and smartly furnished. It was clean and had everything we required for our stay in St Albans. There is parking available but space quite tight. Our only criticism, was that the shower controls were loose so difficult to select option. However, good apartment and would definitely recommend.

United StatesUnfortunately, my stay here was far from satisfactory. The shower in my room was not working from the first day, and despite my repeated complaints, the issue was not resolved throughout my 7-day stay. I felt that the staff did not take my concerns seriously. It's unacceptable to host guests without providing a basic amenity like a working shower. This experience was incredibly frustrating and made my stay overall unpleasant.
The best parts about this place are its location, ease of access, and the space. You can easily stay here with a family. As a bonus it also has a parking.

United KingdomAwful. Chose the place for multiple facilites which did not work. Tried to get a response on dryer, heating, tv, wifi. All came too late. Hrs wasted trying to fix wifi - out in area - TV never connected again - dependent on wifi to work - no tv. no reply till last evening. Defensive. No heating instructions - freezing - child freezing in his draughty room - had to buy more blankets. Blamed us for using incorrectly - put less clothes in dryer - did - it still didn't work. Patio v important feature for booking - filthy and unusable. Owner given opportunity to credit partial payment but disgustingly refused because, according to them, I would likely give a bad review anyway. Creepy para in welcome pack "we reserve the right to access the aprt at any time without prior notice" - which they did! DISGUSTING - in the middle of a pandemic - defensive saying at worn masks - who cares - wud not tell us if covid tested. The bath had an extra lip (approx 4 inches) - as the room is quite pokey was incredibly awkward to access. Looked a lot bigger in pics. Sofas are back breakingly painful - well past best use - shd have heeded a previous review - husbands back hurt for weeks afterwards. The most egregious though was putting our lives in danger by entering our property - without our knowledge - it is unforgivable (even if it was in an attempt to stave off a bad review by delivering a bottle of wine). Neighbours telling us to move from allocated space. Parking not for faint hearted & a extensive building works directly opposite - with serious noise from 8.00 a.m. Defensive and unhelpful replies when they eventually came. Offered 150 Voucher for a place wud never stay again - same as offering nothing - feel utterly cheated and violated. Worst stay ever. Expect a cover up reply.
Its location close to the town had appealed and would but not with extensive building works on top of it. Parking is tight and locals hover to advise where to park-even if not where advised to park.
