This was the most beautiful place to stay for our 5 day trip to Cornwall! The lodge is immaculate, you couldn’t fault it. It was so homely, clean, comfortable & a great location near to main A roads. We have already said how we can’t wait to return hopefully with some sunshine!

We loved everything.

Beach base lodge was the perfect location for our trip. The lodge itself was so spacious and immaculate. The beds were so comfortable and it was furnished to a high standard. I absolutely loved the conscious effort to have environmentally friendly products and I am now on the look out for a coconut scourer for my own home!

Only the location was a little far out and couldn't really walk to St Merryn / Padstow as no pavements if weather was permitting. Also we arrived when dark and found the site not very well lit and streets to accommodation not very well signposted. This didn't spoil our experience though.

Everything. Light, Spacious, clean, all mod cons including Dish washer (with tablets), Cosy, spacious bedrooms, both with own shower and 1 with walk in wardrobe. Lovely touches such as teabags, coffee, sauces provided. Will definitely look to stay there in the summer as it has a lovely balcony which we didn't use. Clubhouse was basic but lovely and staff were vey accommodating and friendly, prices for food and drink reasonable as well. Also host very accommodating with prompt communication and good instructions for pretty much everything.

Very dark on arrival and tricky to find key box. Recommend bringing a torch if arriving at night.

Warm and cosy. Exceptionally clean. Well equipped. Perfect for exploring the area and returning to a relaxing base. Main bed is comfy. 2nd bed fine for kids but mattress was basic. Wouldn’t be suitable for 2 adult sharers. Site itself was a bit weird although we didn’t expect to use any facilities anyway. Mainly bungalows that are permanent residences rather than a typical caravan park.

Excellently furnished, very clean and everything that you need is available. Plenty of space in and around the lodge. I was pleasantly surprised to find a dressing room! Great, informative hosts with very thorough information welcome email sent before our stay which was also available in the lodge.

We luckily got amazing hot weather while we stayed there, unfortunately it was like a sauna in the property and we was unable to cool it down, proving difficult to keep ourselves and our child cool while trying to get to sleep. The cleanliness unfortunately wasn’t up to standard, overall it was good but there was long thick black hairs all over the place, unsure if these were off the cleaners? But it was really off putting finding them all over our child’s toys.

The property was extremely spacious for my 1 year old to run about in. It had a private drive right next to the property to leave our car safely overnight. The kitchen and bathrooms were finished to a lovely modern, high standard. It was in a great location, not far for a supermarket and of course near each of the 7 bays.

Mattress in 2nd bedroom not comfortable for two 10 stone adults. May be ok for young children. Holiday park is actually more of a residential park than a holiday park. Quite tatty in places including dumped part dismantled van outside the site shop for the week we were there.

Nothing to dislike! My other half wasn’t keen on the pillows in the main bedroom but I think that’s down to personal preference.

Beautiful lodge, like a home away from home! The lodge is very modern and spacious, loved the dressing room. Very clean on arrival and excellent provision of cleaning products and appliances. In a brilliant location on a quiet holiday park very close to beautiful beaches and Padstow harbour, the lodge provided a perfect base for us to explore Cornwall.

Location was perfect for what we wanted in terms of family and walks we were looking to do. Place was very spacious and well equipped and comfortable, had everything we needed.. Hosts very responsive, unit itself pristine and clean. Would stay here again, local bar very handy for meals as well.

The Sofa was not the most comfortable. I would usually not be seated as much, but the weather was as to be expected in early March.

Can't really fault the place without being very picky. It was a very nice break. The onsite food was a decent standard There were some unexpected touches that made the lodge a little bit special.

The holiday home could do with the house number being clearly displayed on the house, not just in the parking area. It’s difficult to see if you arrive in the dark. A microwave would be handy.

Beautiful holiday home. All brand new and modern. Very comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen with use of dishwasher. Fantastic open space area for kitchen, living room and dining room table. Nice area to sit outside on decking. The view outside is ok. Two bedrooms with one en-suite. The en-suite bedroom is large with queen size bed, the other bedroom is smaller and has a standard double bed (maybe a little soft). Both bathrooms are lovely. The en-suite has a walk in shower the other has a small bath with shower. Lots of storage room including a walk in wardrobe and dressing table. We stayed there as a family of four. Would definitely recommend. 😄
