Be careful. There are tics in the long grasses around the property. If you have pets just be careful, but even without pets you’ll pick these up on a walk so take precautions. Three of us came away with the little blighters.

    Nothing!

This cottage (Kerrera) was beyond our expectations! My dad loves this area and we booked the cottage as a treat for him. To say he was delighted is a massive understatement!! That picture window!! The view!!! The beds and sofa were comfy, the shower was lovely, the kitchen facilities were spot on. We even got some sunny weather and were able to sit outside on the benches and enjoy a glass of wine. It was a very memorable trip. Thank you so much.

Some really minor improvements, that could make the place perfect: more storage room (like a shelf) and a place to hang clothes in the bathroom, as well as adding some foil paper to the kitchen supplies.

The property is decorated very tastefully and perfectly matches the surroundings. I loved all of the well-thought of details, like the tartan curtains and armchair and the colour of the kitchen cabinets. The views from the living room to the loch are stunning. It was very clean and had all of the kitchen utilities for cooking. We also appreciated the milk left in the fridge, the shortbread and the fresh tulips.

No wardrobe in downstairs bedroom - had to hang clothes on back of door. Main road passing directly infront of property - busy all day and night

Great location. Expensive for just 2 days though - we had 5 days at next property for lower price

People should be aware that you need to drive uphill on a steep hill. This is doable, but you should feel comfortable doing so. To access the private beach you need to cross a busy road. And you need a car to go to the supermarket or a restaurant.

Beautiful view on the lake, small and cozy place with everything we needed, a private beach where the children could play after a day of sightseeing. There are many beautiful hikes in the surroundings and Fort William is a short drive. Also a small supermarket and restaurants at a small driving distance.

The stairs were small and steep. This was no problem for us, but less able people might struggle

Beautiful location, for exploring the mountains, with a small private beach. We just need to revisit in the summer to take full advantage of the beach. The Onich Hotel was only 2 minutes walk away, gorgeous food and very friendly staff who accommodated our party of 6 with 2 dogs no problem

    Nothing, everything is great.

We stayed in Kerrera Cottage. The cottage is really cute, nicely decorated, and high quality furnishings. The view is lovely and the location is good -- a bit far from Fort William, but the area is quiet and it's easy to get around see the sights. There is one restaurant a short walk away, which was convenient. Overall, great experience.

The electric shower runs out of hot water when you have a family of 4 taking shower one after another so just keep that in mind and make sure showers are fast and not long so everyone can enjoy a hot shower.

The view of the cottage was absolutely beautiful! The cottage is well equipped. Just don’t forget shampoo, conditioner and soap as those are not provided (we had it and not a big deal, they may even mention on description can’t remember). Love having the twin beds for the kids. The mattress in the queen room is ok. Overall very nice stay and would stay again. Easter decor, welcome card and instant coffee and milk were a very nice touch!

It would be great if there were basic cooking ingredients (salt, pepper, oil).

Great location, comfortable beds, sofas and dining table, spacious kitchen. We were a group of 10 and we loved staying there.
