A couple of small (and low cost) tweaks could make this property really stand out.

The beds were not the most comfortable for us because we’re used to a rather hard mattress and the beds were too soft, but it’s only a matter of preference. 🙂

The flat is very luminous and has lovely period features. The location is perfect and everything is in walking distance. Phil was a very kind and responsive host. We’d stay again with pleasure.

Windows are ill-fitting allowing quite a blow through of draft which is very noticeable. Road outside is very busy, yes it is a city centre location, but because it is not double glazed, it can be a little noisy, especially when the seagulls start up their early morning wake up call.

Excellent location, 10 mins walk to town centre. Car park close by, but expensive, Big Sainsburys 5mins walk. Flat is clean and comfortable, beds good, shower with ample hot water. Heating came on quickly when needed. Would use this property again.

It took a while to locate and open the key box in the dark and rain upon arrival, much easier in daylight to find!

Excellent location so close to everything in Bath. Perfect size apartment, very clean, all we needed. Great communication with the host throughout booking process, before, during and at the end of the stay. I would happily return and recommend to others.

The apartment was very clean but the walkways stairs etc was a musty smell. Doesn’t give you a great first impression in entering the apartment. The tv was temperamental. Couldn’t get Netflix to work. The PIN code I was given was not the right code to access the key box. I had to call the host to help me enter.

Location was really good. Nice touch having milk in the fridge when we arrived. It had everything in the apartment you need for a short breakaway.

I asked the host in advance if I could check in at 2:00 PM (only one hour early) and he said no. He knew I had to hang around in the street until 3:00 PM. I arrived at 1:00 PM and the 2 hours I was sitting outside in the rain, the apartment was already cleaned. The host could have messaged me and offered me an early check in but he didn’t. Not flexible at all. The street where the apartment is, is a VERY busy street leading into town. Constant street noise. Noisy seagulls in the morning, the bed was very cheap and uncomfortable and squeaks when one turns at night. The guy who lives upstairs wakes up at 5:00 AM every morning. Walks around like an elephant and puts his TV on and is super loud. He stays up until 11:00 PM or later and he is noisy all the time. I would never stay here again! Too noisy and the host does not seem very friendly.

I had booked the apartment months ago and a month before the booking it was cancelled… Not by myself. I went to check the accommodation was available still and it was, so I swiftly booked it again. After checking my booking I realised that I hadn’t booked correctly the second time and it had just said 2 adults(£300) rather than 2 adults and 2 children(£325) I advised booking.com of this and they said I’m sure it will be ok but we will let the owner know. The owner said he couldn’t possibly allow the booking to go forward unless it was amended and the price had now gone up to £354. I had explained that I was the same booking that had got cancelled and whilst i was happy to pay the original price of £325 (2 adults and 2 children). Booking.com advised the booking couldn’t be cancelled and we could just not modify the booking and leave as is. The owner kept messaging saying this wouldn’t do. Booking.com then went AWOL and getting closer to the time the owner said he wouldn’t allow check in unless I paid the extra money. I had advised that booking.com weren’t getting back to me and he advised I pay the money directly to him as an Amazon voucher, the day before the arrival date. I felt very cornered as this was a surprise for my husband and I didn’t want to cancel. booking.com were not getting back to me and I was unable to to deal with the process through the correct channels. I had not paid the voucher as I hadn’t worked out how to organise the amazon voucher and the owner then threatened whilst we were at the flat to come to the flat himself to collect the money if I didn’t pay up. I thought this was completely unprofessional behaviour. I have to say the whole ordeal completely tainted the trip and quite honestly the flat wasn’t worth the extra money. Pillows with no cases on them and stained. Walls so thin that felt like the people upstairs were in our apartment all night keeping us awake. The shower didn’t work properly either.

Nicely furnished and spacious property in an absolutely excellent location in Bath. Easy to access with clear check in and check out instructions. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, big living room. Excellent value for money, especially considering this is Bath!

Was very strong customer orientated. Every single room cover your needs. You think about the item you need- you will find it ! Great location, lovely cosy flat with lots of space where I find a noce view through the windows.
