Shower struggled a bit for pressure at times of peak demand but nothing to 'dampen' the experience.

The parking situation was an issue. We have a large car, so parked in the rear car park which is up a very steep slope. This isn't a problem if you're fit and healthy but my partner has blocked arteries in his leg so really struggled walking up to the car. If we'd known where the car park was we would have booked somewhere else.

We had the double room with a balcony and it was great to be able to sit out on the balcony. Our bed was bigger than a double, which was a bonus and it was very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the cliff railway. Even though the hotel is on the main road it's very quiet at night and we slept really well. I would recommend the fresh fruit salad with natural yogurt for breakfast. Good hosts, particularly Jane who is very friendly.

Wasn't anything we didn't like, the bed was a bit firm for us, but we do like soft beds so that is purely personal preference, still slept perfectly well and wasn't uncomfortable considering this.

The location is perfect, close enough for walking distance to anywhere you'd want to visit, we hadn't been away since covid so we were a bit wary with my partner being high risk, but we felt very safe and clean in the room and the owners respected that we kept the sign up for no one to go in to clean while we were out to minimise contact which we appreciated very much as we were only there for 2 nights. We did bump into the owners on check out, they were very friendly (including Peanut the dog) I would definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

Nothing really, a minor thing only -the shower was quite small (but very clean) and it was a tad tight getting dried in the space available.

In the centre of Lynton, with parking , close to shops, restaurants and local walks. Our room on the second floor overlooked the garden which was rather unkempt but in no way detracted from the beautiful decoration and furnishings in our room. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with many choices. The fruit salad was especially yummy - a favourite of mine when I am away. This was our 3rd stay at the property and we hope to return again in the future.

The driveway wasn't really suitable for our motorbikes and the slope was making it difficult to park safely and to turn around, so although the property was in a good location, I would probably not choose this again if we were travelling on the bikes again.

Fabulous break in stunning North Devon. The hosts Jane & Charlie were extremely accommodating and friendly as was their adorable little dog Peanut. They really went the extra mile and were able to offer me a gluten free breakfast which was delicious and very much appreciated. Perfect location as a base to discover the North Devon coast. During our stay we visited Woolacombe, the Lynton & Lynmouth area and Dunster Castle. The balcony in one of our rooms was a real added bonus too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back! Thanks guys.

No complaints or criticisms ar all.

Pristine venue. Covid hygiene and distancing rules applied. (Guest lounge currently used as 2nd breakfast room to enable proper distancing). VERY welcoming hosts and wonderful breakfasts. Close to town amenities and to Valley of the Rocks. For us it was a perfect and most enjoyable holiday.
