Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I like the cleanliness and size of the apartment and fantastic transport links. Also had a problem with electric going off the owners took no time at all to sort it out with in the hour thankyou.

United KingdomDid not sleep well due to the person living above, could hear every movement he made, no soundproofing in the property. The duvet covers for the sofa beds smelt damp and one smelt unwashed. Not very comfortable to sleep on either. In the kitchen there was only enough cutlery for 3 people although 4 of us staying. A lock on the bathroom door would of been helpful especially as the door doesn't close properly.
The accommodation is a good size for a short stay and modern looking, location was good as we wanted somewhere near to family and the beach. The use of WiFi was great. Bakery on the same road does amazing food.

United KingdomThe above flat, very loud man who lives there. Struggled with sleeping due to the noise from him, floorboards very creaky and can hear everything he says/does including having a shower at 2am! Also lack of car parking, had to park in GP surgery over the road.
Property was clean and spacious, good distance from Tyne dock metro station which was great.

SpainThe apartment is advertised as 4-person but it's not suitable for more than 2 people. The sofa bed is too short, you won't fit in it if you're more than 5'8, and it's extremely uncomfortable. Plus it's in the living room which faces a busy road so there's noise and light throughout the night. The apartment is quite noisy and sort of damp overall.
The location was quite convenient with easy transport links and parking. There were supermarkets nearby and the beach was about 40' walk. Communication with the apartment manager was good and they were helpful and responsive. It's a decent apartment with a big kitchen and okay amenities.
