The room is a bit too small but I guess there is nothing much Iain can do about it. Iain’s hospitality more than compensate for the small room.

Iain was a great host. He was exceptionally helpful and friendly. He answered all my questions wrt the places of interests. His breakfast was outstanding. I would highly recommend a stay with Iain.

We’ve been looking spontaneously for a cozy place on the Isle of Skye. It was better than any place we could ever imagine. It’s close to the city of Portree but the house itself is in beautiful nature and great landscapes. Ian was so kind and friendly to us. Breakfast was great!

The room and the breakfast/gathering area were both really nice but what sets this place apart are the hosts who are discreet if you want that but also chock-full of information and eager to share about their lovely town. The breakfast, which is served according to your schedule was delicious. The eggs are from their own chickens. It is about a 10 minute drive into the town but that was absolutely no problem. In fact, we thought it was a plus as we got to see gorgeous countryside and farm animals and stunning views during each trip. The location was also great because you really only go into Portree to perhaps have dinner and listen to the wonderful live music. During the day you will be traveling to the outrageously gorgeous sites on this island. I would love to come back.

No words can describe this experience! Amazing house, excellent location with a lake view and an amazing hill path just next to it for an afternoon hike. The host is very polite and friendly. The breakfast was also very good! The best place we stayed in our 10-day Scotland road trip! Extremely recommended and not only for one night. At least 2 or more 😊 Thank you Iain for everything!

Iain was an exceptional host and the place was immaculate. A comfy room and a gorgeous shaded space with a comfy living area and absolutely divine deck and view. Iain made sure that our stay was perfect and checked that we'd managed to find dinner in a spot where restaurants are regularly booked out. This stay was the highlight of our first time in Scotland and we can't recommend it highly enough! My only recommendation is to stay for more than two nights! We were so sad to leave!

We loved everything!

A true treasure! The rooms are small but the guests have the entire living room area and a terrasse with gorgeous views to themselves - as there are only 2 rooms, it's very comfortable and quiet. Iain is the perfect host - more than perfect. We haven't had such a good breakfast in all Scotland - traveling vor a month! We'll come back

We stayed three nights at the Skye Photo Centre, a pleasingly remote B&B at Camastianvaig, about 15 minutes drive out of Portree. There are two en-suite rooms, and a breakfast room/dining room which looks out across the sea. All the rooms are beautifully and creatively furnished. Ian and Jackie are excellent, friendly hosts. Wonderful breakfast - scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, French toast with bacon and maple syrup; served with copious quantities of tea and coffee. We woud certainly want to stay there again if and when we return to Skye.

Excellent stay at Iain's place. He specially adapted the breakfast for veggies and vegans, much appreciated the effort. Beds were comfortable with a private and clean bathroom in the room, the place is located in a quite area, easily reachable by car and it's a nice base to visit the rest of the island. Will be back soon!

Breakfast was delicious and Iain was very accommodating to dietary requirements. The view from the deck/living room was stunning; a peaceful place to recharge after a long day.

The property has stunning views. It’s very clean and the decor is lovely. The main space is open and airy with lovely big windows, which look onto the water. The hosts were absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, we were made to feel welcome and right at home. Breakfast choice was brilliant and cooked to perfection, best scrambled eggs I think I’ve ever eaten! We even got to see a seal bobbing about in the water in the bay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Iian is the best host! Super nice and caring and he makes the best breakfast!! The house is really nice with a breathtaking view over the lake. Clean room and everything you need. We would definetly recommend it to a friend.

Isolated and very quiet which we liked. Views were great but only 10 minutes from Portree. Owners, Iain & Jacquie were very welcoming and friendly. Very happy with our 3 night stay.

I loved every aspect of this accommodation! The hosts were very kind and attentive, would do anything to help. The room was very nice and clean, just what we needed. The breakfasts were delicious and the portions were very generous. The communal area for guests was lovely and open with an outdoor area also. Where the house is located has beautiful views :) would definitely stay here again, without a doubt!!

Very nice B&B accomodation providing two en-suite bedrooms and a shared living room and beautiful terrace with perfect sea views. From the house you can make a nice hillwalk which is very likely to provide close encounters with sturdy sheep, sea eagles and golden eagles! Delicious breakfast, very friendly host! The narrow one lane road towards the house at first seems frightening but with the many passage places is very well manageable. Good parking lot.
