Everything was perfect

It is beautiful. The location, the history and nostalgia, the decor and the facilities are all amazing. Check in/out was very simple and the treats in the room were an added bonus. Perfect place for an anniversary weekend away and location for the Yorkshire Three Peaks

The only thing I could mention was that the heating was on full when we arrived and I love being warm but it was overbearingly hot, I opened the window and turn the radiators off but the window banged close on its own so i didn’t want to risk opening it again Incase it shattered the glass. Maybe just need the window fixing so it stays open.

Ideal location in the Yorkshire dales and in a lovely village. The decor is beautiful and everything was spotless clean.

The room/bathroom both got quite hot & no method of turning down the heat (the window can be opened). The iron could have been better.

Great location, beautiful building and decor within the room. Great facilities and a really nice touch of having coffee/tea/milk available on arrival along with a bottle of prosecco. Would definitely recommend.

Not much really, bath screen seal was broken so water did go on the floor but a small thing to fix

How the room got stinky when cooking....

Stayed in the Tristan top floor room...Beautiful place...luxurious feel...our room got very stinky when cooking as a very small room and the bed very close to the kitchen so had all the windows open....amazing view. Bloody gorgeous building. Would come back again as the location was stunning for walks and village life.

There were some kitchen items missing in our apartment! There were no forks, table spoons or table knives, and the bowls and side plates were missing! Unfortunately we only realised this when we had hot food prepared - so might be worth checking when you arrive. We did manage to get through to someone on the phone, but the downside of having no staff on site meant it was not sorted promptly, however they did help us in the end.

The apartment was well finished, it is in a lovely area with a great view of the Dales out of the window. Being a fan of the TV show myself, it was a dream to stay here! It was easy to access keys to the apartment and to park on the road nearby. The facilities were great, very modern and luxurious and the bed was very comfy. I would definitely recommend for a weekend or even a week away, a great base for exploring the surrounding areas.

It was a little cold and a while until we could work out the radiators. Also although we found a duvet for the extra beds, we could not find any other linen.

An excellent location in a very characterful house with a well known history. The accommodation was superb and the double bed very comfortable. Our adult sons were very comfortable in a double sofa bed and single bed and the kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped.Interesting to have the extra room with exhibits from the days of the house being a veterinary surgery.

The heating was off when we arrived and the window open. It was a fairly chilly first night and the main room never got comfortably warm. The bathroom was fabulously warm though.

A beautiful room in a lovely house in a picturesque village. Very spacious double bed room with a warm en-suite bathroom and small and reasonably equipped kitchen room.

The lock on the door bedroom door was difficult to us. Tv reception was poor. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor.

In a quiet area with 3 pubs close by. Nicely decorated and furnished, very spacious with comfortable bed. Great bathroom and kitchen with milk in the fridge and liked the coffee machine. Liked the large tv. Liked the James Herriot connection.
