The property was in a very good location, and easy to walk to throughout the town.

Apart from one small hook on the bathroom door there were no towel rails or hooks. There were no shelves near the wash basin for toiletries, there was a small shelf above the toilet. It was extremely hot during our stay. The window only opened a little (safety reasons). No air conditioning. We asked at reception if it was possible to get a fan, they delivered one to our room

The room had been refurbished, very nicely done. Bed was very comfortable. Room facilities were very good. Beautiful building with outside seating. Perfect central location

The parking was discounted with a local car park which was good but booking.com said they was no parking my husband found it on another website and we had to ask at the hotel to get it.

The staff were friendly and helpful and we got £25 off the parking

-SECURITY: I left my card in the room and they did not check my identity at the counter when I requested a new card. That should be a standard procedure 24/7 -No fridge in the room

Location, closer to Downtown, the train station (Lime Street), walking distance from many places Breakfast is delicious and included Old but in good shape building Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and some cookies available in the room TV with hundreds of channels and free movies

The price for the location was excellent. The room was very spacious and excellent value for money. The bar was also very nice and reasonably priced. The staff were also very welcoming. There were also a ton of plugs, which made getting ready very easy!

Only disappointing thing I can say is there is no facilities for storing luggage, we checked out at 11 am but are flights were for 7pm and we had to take our luggage around with us during the day.

Our room was a little tired and in need of redecoration which the hotel is completing.

The Manager Andrew, was very helpful once he knew our issues. Carol on reception was also very helpful, and Mollie at breakfast was excellent

Whilst it didn't put us off as we'd read reviews, the central location made for the area to be somewhat noisy into early hours. Saturday night worse . Sunday not a problem at all. Great hotel all the same

Our hotel room was decorated in very dark green and very dark purple -it felt like we walked into a cave -so had to turn all the lights on. The windows were dirty and there was a stuffy smell in the hallway.

We loved the breakfast!! excellent quality and very tasty. Lovely friendly staff a new bathroom and large TV. Great location from Lime Street Station and City center. We slept very well, it was nice and quiet.. even though we were on a busy road.

The blinds on the window were broken……. That’s it really. The hotel was undergoing refurbishment at the time and the room we stayed in was of old decor.

Fantastic location within the city. Two minutes walk from the cavern quarter. Our twin room was very basic, but suited our need for a shower and a place to get our heads down. I would definitely book again

I have an issue with paying a £50 charge on the room which then is refunded within 7 to 10 working days. The staff check the room and if you have not abused it you get it back. Iam 68 years of age , i did have any raves in my room!!!!

The breakfast was very good and enormous!. The hotel was under renovation in some parts but, it did not impact my stay. I met with friends in Liverpool and the hotel was very well located in the city centre..
