car park whilst adequate , if you need to access your car it is possible you could get blocked in by other guests so check if you need your car later in the day. This should not deter you though , it was no bother to re-arrange parking.

the accommodation was spotless, breakfast was excellent ,marc and rose couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. we shall definitely return to the Silverlands , in our view it was the best guesthouse we have stayed in whilst frequently visiting Torquay. If you didn't want to walk or use the car there is a bus stop directly outside or a train station literally at the end of the road which will take you into Torquay, Paignton etc. But Torquay town is only a 15-20 min walk.

The bed was a little hard but that is just my personal preference. (Still slept like a log)

We arrived a little early and went into the guest house to ask if we could park our car in their carpark so that we could walk into the town. We were greeted straight away and were told our room was ready although we were an hour or so early. We had a warm welcome with lots of information and were even offered a map of Torquay. Our lovely host then said that she has upgraded our room free of charge! Our room was absolutely spotless. The smell was nice and fresh. The Bathroom was pristine and had a lovely shower! A very modern yet homely room. Biscuits, hot chocolate, tea & coffee. Great Tv on wall! We were given a piece of paper to fill out for our breakfast, we had to fill it out by the evening prior but this was not an issue. There is a chart with all the breakfast items for a full English & we just had to write how many of what item we would like. The breakfast was great! The waitress who served us was very attentive and friendly. Great choice of fruit, cereal, juice and yoghurt. Overall- brilliant guest house, amazing customer service, perfect location, lovely breakfast, and super clean with a homely vibe. Thank you for making our weekend trip so enjoyable.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Silverlands Guest House over the Spring bank holiday weekend. The place captivated us with its charm and warmth. Our hosts, Rose and Marc, were the epitome of hospitality. Their genuine friendly demeanour made it effortless for them to cater to our needs. It felt as though we were visiting old friends rather than staying at a guest house. They were generous with their local knowledge, providing us with excellent advice on exploring the area. Our room was a haven of comfort and cleanliness. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and boasted a fantastic bathroom that was kept immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bed linen added a cosy, warm touch that we particularly loved. Breakfast was a delight, offering a variety of freshly prepared options, (best hash browns I have ever tasted☺), complemented by an assortment of cereals, fruits and yogurts. Location was ideal, just a short stroll away from the town centre and the harbour. For those who prefer not to walk or drive, there’s a conveniently located bus stop right at the doorstep. Additionally, parking is plentiful, ensuring a hassle-free experience for those travelling by car. All in all, our stay at Silverlands was nothing short of delightful. There wasn't any thing l couldn't like for a guest house because it had what it could. If it was a hotel l would have put no lift but it wasn't so there wasn't anything l didn't like.

The hosts were very welcoming, interested in their guests and flexible. The room was good, the bed was comfy it was quiet and we had a great view of the garden. There is free parking, it is very close to the railway station. The breakfast was great and there was loads of it. We walked down into town, we do a lot of walking so it wasn't an issue for us, for people who don't do much walking it is all uphill on the way back, there may well be taxi's or buses but we didn't use them so I can't comment on this.

My stay at Silverlands Guest House was really good. Rose & Marc were very welcoming & just lovely hosts throughout my stay. My requests for an early breakfast was "No Trouble At All" & it met my expectations. The room was tastefully decorated & extremely clean throughout. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom was spacious & modern. Parking was available which is quite rare for some parts in Torquay. I am travelling to Torquay again & will be staying at Silverlands once again.

A lovely b&b in good location with small carpark. Greeted by Marc & Rose who were very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, we had been upgraded to king room which was much appreciated. It was spotlessly clean and bed comfy. Had to preorder breakfast and select time, the evening before. The cooked breakfast was delicious; quality ingredients and plentiful. Would highly recommend this b&b
