We liked everything about this property, ease of use, everything you need, spacious and even appreciated the decor and artwork. If I had to pick holes in anything the bathrooms are a little tired but it didn’t bother us adds to the charm.. and also the rug in the lounge is so slippy we moved it out the way in the end so the kids didn’t fall over.

We loved the location of the property, you feel like you have the whole estate to yourself for the weekend. We had lovely walks down into Brockenhurst in ten minutes, got the train to lymington it was perfect. I loved sitting outside early in the morning for our breakfast surrounded by nature and you have everything inside you need. Beds are comfy, fluffy towels and enough space for a family of 4 to relax after a busy day of forest fun. We came straight from Paultons park Friday, it was easy to get to and we were settled in within minutes… we’ve done camping, campervan, caravanning in the past but this by far was easier with the kids and we’ve booked our “little house” as the kids called it again as we loved it so much.

The bathroom, we thought it was odd there were no photos of the bathroom when we booked it and we could see why. It was very small and cramped with the position of the door, no hand rails to get in and out of the bath for the over the bath shower. There was mould and mildew on the tiles and edge of the bath, and although the water was hot and the pressure great we had a bit of a fight to keep from flooding the floor. The bathroom certainly did not reflect the rest of the property and the overall stay made up for it.

The property was secluded, with a lovely big enclosed garden for the dogs to run around in, beautiful scenery, and lovely and quiet. It was clean and tidy when we arrived. The local village was within walking distance, with everything we needed, and plenty to see and do without having to get in the car but also nice and central for days out to see all that the New Forest has to offer. It was exactly as advertised, and would definitely be coming back.

Views restricted by the shrubs. Bathroom and toilet door did not shut. Outside table and chair all rotten and a bit dangerous

The bungalow is in a very quiet private location. The large garden is secure and ideal for dogs. The rooms are well decorated and spacious. The accommodation was clean and had two WCs separate from the shower/bathroom, ideal for a family. We had a fantastic time and would definitely consider booking again if visiting the New Forest.

Bathroom water radiator didn't get warm. Kitchen could do with few more utensils. Couldn't find vacuum cleaner.

The weather sadly ;-)) ! otherwise we loved it !

The house was far better than we had imagined ... newly decorated in ikea colours to give a light, bright modern feel. The bathrooms & kitchen were spotless & everything felt clean & fresh. A great layout for our needs and well equipped - (Thank you for the unlimited logs for the open fire & the little welcome basket of snacks on arrival . A really nice thought). The Location is great . and of course to top it all, Such wonderful views across the estate grounds with all the bluebells.

The cottage is in a beautiful location, easy to get to Brockenhurst for shops, dinner, drinks etc and nice and quiet with pretty surroundings to relax in. We enjoyed the fire in the evening.

Nothing we didn’t like particularly - decor was a little tired in areas, but felt that was reflected in reasonable cost of accommodation.

Great location for exploring the New Forest. Very well stocked - lovely welcome basket, lots of toilet roll, hand soap, dishwasher tablets etc. Clean and cosy home.
