The quilt was a bit warm for the time of year but I am sure if we had asked we would have been given something different, it wasn't a big enough issue to ask.

One minor thing but it was a very wet day and there was no doormat so we worried about traipsing water into our beautiful room.

We loved everything about our stay! The room was fantastic with lots of thoughtful touches (like the fresh milk) and the hosts were friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here for a wedding at The Courtyard Venue and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved this hotel! The decor was really cosy and felt like home! The bathroom was also really really nice with a very unusual bathtub!! Mark & Michelle went above and beyond to make us comfortable, even offered to lend me straighteners as I had forgotten mine!! Breakfast was lovely, we had continental but was option for cooked. Hairdryer in room. Makeup flannel and little care kits such as a sewing kit, personal care (ear buds etc). Such lovely little gesture. Thank you so much Mark & Michelle! Very much recommended.

We have stayed before in room 9 in the courtyard on main house side. This time we were in room 5 which is next to a pub. Music was very loud until 11.30 pm so not restful for a early night which was not the case in room 9. Not a problem if you plan to stay out till later.. Fridge in room would be useful to chill wine or beer to enjoy the beautiful courtyard.

Rooms are beautiful and spacious with separate area for dressing. Good size bathroom with luxury shower gels and nice fluffy towels. Coffee machine and biscuits with fresh milk. Courtyard is lovely to sit out in with a pond and plenty of seating. Location is central Oswestry and free parking available on a first come basis.

I tried to award a 9/10 for the overall score but my honest marking resulted in an 8.

Our stay was brief, but as were within travelling distance of NT Powys Castle we visited after a fine breakfast. (Other NT properties are also within easy reach.) The room was very comfortable and well maintained and our tea/coffee facilities were above average. Our hosts were smashing. So thanks.

Nothing.....all good. Excellent in fact....car parking was a bit of a pain, but used a public carpark in Oswestry....no charge between 6pm and 6am.....

Secure, quiet, clean and tidy. Felt safe as a lone female. The locked door from the street into the court yard was a terrific idea. Great flowers and tubs in the court yard, looked great.

Couldn't connect reliably to the WiFi for some reason. I'm sure if I'd asked it would have been sorted out but 4G reception was fine so just used that instead.

Very clear instructions sent about finding the parking and getting checked in. A friendly welcome, lovely, very clean room with good facilities. An effort has been made with the décor. Stayed just the one night for work but got the impression nothing was too much trouble to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Didn't try the breakfast as I was in a hurry in the morning but sounded good. It's pretty central in Oswestry so plenty of eating choices and pubs and some pleasant evening walks. Would certainly go back again.
