There was nothing to dislike.

Everything was perfect, the apartment was sensational, so well equipped and every detail had been thought about. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture which included a loaf of bread, a whole pack.of butter, marmalade, a bottle of milk and assorted fruit. The location was fabulous, a great 7 minute walk every morning took us to Steephill Cove which was just magical with three cafes to choose from, two opened at 10.00 am and one at 12.00. The crab pasties were amazing! The owner even text me to find out if there was anything he could help us with.

Going home

Lovely hideaway close to an enchanting little cove. Thanks for the little hamper ! Easy access to the cliff paths and a short walk into Ventnor. Steephill cove nearby has a couple of laid back cafes and a small sandy beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Seawinds, everything was perfect. It's in a great location, just a short walk from Ventnor, and minutes away from Steep hill cove. Darren is a great guy, and a lovely host. The accommodation is well equipped to a high standard, and has everything you might need. As others have said, lovely to have a welcome pack of bread, butter, serial, milk, tea, coffee, and fruit... Seawinds is a cosy retreat, and a perfect base for exploring the island. We will be back next year, thank you Darren.

A super apartment :) A real home from home property. Spotlessly clean and modern with everything provided for a very comfortable stay. Lovely hosts who very thoughtfully provided much appreciated ‘welcome goodies’. The bed was very comfortable .. loved the bedding. Lovely fluffy, plentiful towels. We have been visiting the IoW for 40+ years and this property is among the best. Perfect location, we love Ventnor, but nowhere is too far away on this lovely little island, especially with a car. We are familiar with the area, so we personally didn’t have any issues finding the property and, although up an incline, didn’t have any issues parking in the little private parking space outside the property. We look forward to returning :)

The property is newly refurbished to a high standard, spotless clean, warm and comfortable. It has its own outdoor seating area and a little garden with a swing. Parking space is available too. Kitchen is fully equipped and we had tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, cereals and fruit left for us. What a nice treat! Thank you. There is a hairdryer, iron and vacuum cleaner as well as some toiletries and many fluffy towels in the bathroom too. And if you have any problem, the owner of the property is very helpful and right there, living next door, but definitely not intrusive. Thank you for being such an amazing host! We would love to come back.

Got a little lost finding the property so i would say if there was more specific directions to locate the property as it is up a steep road and only a small sign to say where it was. I made a note it was where the lamppost with 3 balls was so easier to find. Its a minor thing but had i been travelling alone and it was dark would have been a little worried.

Just that the pillows were a bit high and firm for my taste. But that's just me my wife loved them.

Great location, quiet and peaceful. Fully equipped with everything you would need.10 minute or so walk to town or 5 minutes to the Botanical Gardens.

I found it an absolute privilege to stay in such a lovely place in an awesome location. Peace and quiet and very close to steep hill cove with a great walk along the coastal path to Ventnor. Upon arrival I had fruit, milk, bread, butter and cereal which I haven't had previously on many trips in self catered accommodation. The hosts were absolutely wonderful with great communication and care. The accommodation was spacious with great attention to detail with toiletries and thoughtful additions to lift the stay. I will certainly try to come back again and stay here in better weather to take advantage of the lovely private garden provided. My thanks to the hosts for a wonderful trip.
