A return visit so I knew what to expect. Good location and good facilities.

I had to write and ask for instructions to gain access on the day as I had not heard from anyone. Having that before I set off would have been good....otherwise nothing we did not like.

It was a perfect place for us. Very clean and comfortable in a great location. The hosts wete very responsive once we made contact! The flat was just as advertised ...thanks for the binoculars too!

Unfortunately we had a rattling noise on the first night (heard from master bedroom) which we think was due to strong wind and it’s direction on an air vent outside. I’m sure this is outside of the owners hands and it wouldn’t put me off staying again.

Beautiful apartment, absolutely immaculate and fitted with high quality furnishings. Had everything we needed to prepare simple meals.Lovely views.

You might want to give the shower a deep clean, starting to mould around the edges.

Nothing to dislike. I would recommend a smart bulb with remote in twin room to switch light off from bed but not a major problem.

The location was great. Facing the harbour the view was spectacular. The sunsets were magical. Lidl and aldi a short walk away. The apartment had everything you could need. Contact from the letting agents was superb.

Great location lovely view, quiet area. Felt like you were abroad with the great balcony overlooking the sea. Well equipped kitchen. Added extras like cleaning items etc a real bonus.

I was in the area birdwatching and the apartment was ideally situated especially for Fisherrow harbour and Musselburgh, but also for other places around the coast such as Aberlady Bay and Gullane.

The property was very clean and well maintained. Location was great as it was near the sea but close to Edinburgh and local shops. Apartment was very quiet and on site parking was a real bonus. Booking experience was easy and owner gave clear instructions.

No curtains in both bedrooms?? We put our kids to bed in the twin room and as it was light outside it was too light at 8pm in their room which meant they didn’t go to sleep until much later then we went to bed at 11.30 and our room and the kids room were floodlit from the car park lighting…. a very simple fix and we wouldn’t stay again without this being sorted. People who have previously rented the flat have left food items in the kitchen cupboards some of which were very old and we found that a tad off putting. Only automated messages during our stay from the owner which I thought was quite odd and impersonal. Flat was generally clean to a reasonable standard however all our socks told a different story from the wooden flooring. Oh and my 3 yr old brought part of an old sandwich to me which came from a drawer in their bedroom…. So think the flat is being cleaned well but attention to detail is missing eg . Kitchen cupboards checked and cleared regularly, chopped crockery thrown out, drawers checked , floors deep cleaned.

Location, location, location. Access to beach/sea front location. Central to town, restaurants and shops. Parking onsite. Well laid out accommodation for 4 people. En suite as well as family bathroom. Modern kitchen.

Bedrooms were missing curtains - a must because of bright car park lighting on all night, and during long Scottish Summer day light. We were not aware that the sea gulls would keep screeching quite often during the night. We did not expect to find dirty linen from previous guests left in one of the wardrobes (especially during Covid pandemic).
