Staff were ignorant,I wasn’t even asked my name or reservation number,my friend came to check in with me and when I asked her to come and check the room with me ,the woman( who gave me my key, I presume the owner)was very rude , she actually raised her hand and shout” stop non paying guests are not allowed in rooms,we were so shocked as to the way we was spoken to,the hotel needs a complete refurbishment,I was offered a sea view at a discounted rate, I wasn’t informed about the noise from the roadworks though,when I asked to move rooms I was told that the hotel would have to upgrade another guest so that I could change rooms and they would not refund me my money ( I was fuming)Being a vegetarian I was woken to the smell of bacon everyday,some how the smell lingered to the top floor I don’t know and that all you could smell through out the hotel was bacon Also the tv was that small and so far from the bed ;you would have to sit on the floor to watch it.NEVER AGAIN WOULD I STAY THERE!

It was not made clear on arrival that friends of guests were not allowed to enter at all. Don’t stay here if you plan on having friends in the room - a friend of mine came up to my room early hours of the morning to make sure I was ok and help pack my bags and I got fined for this. I appreciate the policy is in place for security reasons but I would have appreciated the guest house communicating this with me rather than charging extra to my card. Apart from this, it is a good place to stay.

Whilst not the fault of the owners the location was not great due to its proximity to numerous bars. Both nights of our stay we experienced rowdy drunken behaviour and anti social activity which included a big fight, drug dealing and loud arguments. The shower room and toilet where cramped and the shower wasnt great.

I did not book breakfast dld not no wen I booked as I am 66 no void on internet l made a mistake booked 2 single rooms by mistake didn't know till the day I arrived James the person that was on respsion range booking com as I am hearing impaired so cannot house the phone but booking com still took £700 from my bank I no it was my fault not being able to understand computers I got no understand in from booking com hit my pension for that week bad I never book a holiday on the net again

The b&b was terrible, we go away every weekend and never stayed anywhere like that before, the bed had all blood spots and bugs, it was dirty, the bedding and towels stank, the shower was useless couldnt even shower the pressure was terrible, and the toilet had a bowl underneath because it was leaking.. was so uncomfortable sleeping in the discusting bed.. and it stunk of mould on the entrance..

Staff were friendly and chatty. We both felt very welcome. The views from the room were gorgeous. The room was comfortable and clean. Also, I have to say I had the best scrambled eggs I’ve had.
