Excellent hosts. Cottage was lovely and comfy. Area was brilliant with park and seaside. Even a free splash park next to the park. Small town with service stations bars and restraunts and shopping centre. Everything in one tiny stunning town.

Not so handy having to park away from the house but we were well aware of this when we booked so although not handy perfectly acceptable especially when we saw he narrow cul de sac.

Quiet location within easy reach of shops and beach. The house was very well equipped and homely. We bought a bag of kiln dried wood from B&M for the wood burner which is a really nice feature and made the sitting room super cosy.

We loved it all and will definately be back when visiting family in Nairn.

I liked the cosy living room with a real log fire. The kitchen had everything, and more, and helped us to enjoy our short stay. Everything was so clean and ready for our arrival. Its so handy for the beach too

The kitchen was much smaller than I had realised. We didn’t cook but it was snug with the dogs

Centrally located. The master bedroom was spacious. Log burner a welcome attraction in winter

There was no parking outside which with 3 kids alone made it difficult to load and unload the car and the stairs were a little steep for my 5 year old but just minor things.

It was clean, tidy, accessible for shops and the beach. In a good location and neighbours were all lovely.

The table in front of the fire. We moved the table to the window to feel the effect of the fire. Apologies to the host - we forgot to move it back. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property at all really.

The location was super. The cottage was clean and in general a really lovely place to relax in.

A lovely, nostalgic visit in a nice location with fine weather. It was so good to see Nairn again.

We had trouble with locking the door at first. Ian kindly came round and showed us that you really have to push the handle up incredibly hard and fast to close it properly. Maybe add that detail to the little instruction sticker at the door for folk who aren't used to this type of lock. Once that was sorted it was easy. The TV was a bit confusing at first, but after some trial and error and pushing of buttons it worked out okay. All was fine.

The location was great. I stayed in this exact same place on holiday back in the early 1970s and the memories came flooding back, especially when I saw the tiny second bedroom and the quaint twisty stairs. I remembered the tiled fireplace in the main bedroom. Grew to love it all over again. Nairn has so many good things going for it, and we found some nice local restaurants. Ozzy's does a fantastic cranachan. The weather was beautiful for September! Great seeing the links again and travelling out to Auldearn, Forres, Burghead and Elgin. Did a good, detailed walking tour of Fishertown where the cottage is located.
