We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

This is the second time in 2 weeks that I have been in the area for work and I returned to the Seacote Hotel based on my first experience of staying here. This Hotel is a little gem. During my first stay I had a sea facing room which was bright, spacious and had an amazing view. My second room didn't have the view but had been upgraded but was equally as spacious, modern with a lovely brand new bathroom.

United KingdomI doubt it there is a room free from disturbance from music at times, as quite clearly this hotel is a local venue for wddeing receptions, conference and the like. I only had a short period when music from below could not be avoided but would think on occasion the reverse may be the case. As for restaurant, dinning you certainly get the plate of food ordered, but sadly little is available without chips or rice. The overall quality was however quite good.
My room,120, had a good view of the coast and had the advantage of the sound of the sea through the open window at night, of waves crashing on the shore about 100yards away. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was directly over the bar ,where, on a Friday night a local band performs. The music ended at ten, which was just as well. Watching tv , and listening to Mrs.Browns boys on sound level 50+is not to be forgotten. I found the staff to be always available and attentive.

Very helpful staff from pre check in to post. Helped with reccomendations and general enquiries. Rooms were nice and clean as well as having comfortable beds to sleep in. Right by the beach but very easy walk into St Bees and access to the train to get to Whitehaven etc
