We were a large family group . The staff went above and beyond in meeting our needs We had a reservation for dinner for 16 adults. The food was excellent and was served by the very cheerful staff.

The bathroom in our room smelt damp or something else, extractor fan didn’t work in it no way to switch it on. Also mirror doors needed cleaned. Windows in bedroom needed blinds as people walking up the road behind hotel could see you. Also when approaching hotel big wooden plywood panel at front looked awful no notifications about updates to hotel so looked awful. Wouldn’t stay again although staff and food were good.

The property was just up from the main road so very easy to walk around Pitlochry. Spa looked good but as we were only there 1 night so didn’t us it. Breakfast was excellent.

Restaurant was closed. However there was one close by so no big deal.

I think we must have got a free upgrade. Our room was far superioir to the one allocated to our friends.

The hot tub switched off too soon, and the food was over priced.

We love this hotel it has everything you need. The swimming pool Jacuzzi are great. They have a Spa but we didn’t book any treatments during our stay. It’s central for everything, Shops, Restaurants, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Salmon Ladder, Whiskey Distillery’s and much more. Staff are very friendly with a reasonably price Bar for drinks, cocktails etc. The Restaurant has a good menu which you need to book in advance. The full Scottish Breakfast is delicious. Nice selection of cereals, pastries and a great coffee machine offering a good selection of coffees.

Bathroom, could do with somewhere to hang towels to dry, the towel radiator is too small and not strong enough for any weight. This means you need fresh towels if staying more than one night. Two chairs would have been a bonus 😊 Not keen on the glass door, but that's just me.

It was very central with parking. A bit tired in areas but I believe refurbishment is on going.

Pillows were too hard, although the bed was great . Cooked breakfast was lukewarm ,although the plates were hot ( I suspect they did not have enough staff in the kitchen)

Location was perfect. Room was as expected. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Spa and pool were very good.

One room was very small to the back and kitchen area. Rather loud at night. Bed not comfy. It wasn't obvious that salmon cost extra (breakfast menue). Not everything was available at the buffet by the time we had our breakfast.

Poached eggs could have been warmer/hot. Bacon dry & muffin tough. Mirror in pool changing would be great as would be a spin dryer for wet costume

Breakfast was adequate. Sausages were good. Not big breakfast eaters so didn’t take full advantage of all that was on offer. Pool was lovely. Didn’t eat dinner in hotel as not on offer Monday night.

As a Spa I would have liked dedicated time slots where there were no children in the pool. This because of the occasional guest with children seemed think it was OK to use the pool as a splash pool when people were trying to relax, as well as knocking on windows and shouting.

The dining and Spa staff were exceptional, although all staff couldn't do enough to assist guests and ensure they had everything for their stay.

We booked a cosy double room, was perhaps too cosy even with windows open. Bed was comfy but room was roasting all night regardless of the windows being open which left us not having the most fantastic nights sleep . Shower water pressure wasn’t the greatest either.

Location was fab, staff, parking and atmosphere was great. Everything was clean (apart from marks on our carpet.) facilities were all there and available . Breakfast was spot on with so much selection.

Unfortunately, the price of food on the menu. Appreciate it maybe on par with most other hotels but doesn’t make it right and thats comparing it to Edinburgh.

The hotel was generally very tatty and worn down. The lampshades in our room were both broken.

The restaurant area and entrance area were nicely presented.
