The owner Graham was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and the hotel is a short walk from the beach. We didn't have a cooked breakfast but the continental breakfast included was good. Thanks for a lovely stay 😊

over time maybe just replace the towels and update room a bit but thats just looking for things.

The host graham makes the place he was so lovely, the room was clean, a little dated but i love that as im old fashioned. Lots of effort out the front with beautiful flowers. Felt so relaxed being there.

The room was a good size but a a few minor changes would have improved it- the bathroom had no hook to hang any clothes for example and there was only one socket to plug in chargers etc. The beds were soft and not very comfortable.

Tony is a great host and really looked after us well. The location is wonderful, on the sea-front, and it's very quiet. Parking also no problem. We also enjoyed the lounge with a panoramic view over the sea front. Nice breakfast, though a bit more variety oil the fruit and cereals would have been good.

En-suite bathroom/toilet was very small. TV was on the wall to the side of the bed which gave me a stiff neck trying to watch it.

Landlord was very nice and nothing was too much trouble. Sofa in lounge was extremely comfortable, although bedroom was a little on the small side.

First off, there was NO Breakfast (It's a B&B, So a B without the other B), not advertised or stated anywhere that there is/was no Breakfast, should be refunded the difference for the breakfast, paid for something they didn't offer. 5 Star food rating in the front window (But don't offer Food). No Remote for the TV. 1 Plug Socket for the entire room. You could either turn on the telly (Couldnt use), or plug in an extension lead to power the kettle and mobile phones. Health and Safety issue: Extension Lead cable ran across the floor across doorway to bathroom. Chunk of glass missing from window (Bottom Right corner) Cracked Window. Window does not stay open Shower constantly dripped all night. Pillows thinner than a pancake. Very loud drain pipes from room upstairs.

Photos of property untrue to how it now looks. In middle of renovations. Extremely dated in communal areas, upstairs communal areas not used. No breakfast considering its BB. Creased bed linen ( but clean), only 2 towels to 3 people which were damp and smelt. Only one member of staff ever seen ( he did his best to help), there wasn't anyone on reception just had to wait till the man turned up. A lady constantly in foyer whatever time we past through, unsure of her purpose as looked homeless. Had to put kettle on floor to reach extension leads, in sisters room nowhere to plug tv in. No housekeeping. Lift did not work and we were on top floor. Our 2nd night was booked via hotel, but after first night we got back and there was someone else in my sisters room. Her stuff was taken to reception by new customers. Very strange. So my sister stayed in our room as my daughter went home after first night.

The reception is very dark , old very tired furniture, not welcoming. Needs to be updated ASAP ! No dining room and offering no breakfast. Should have a note to say it is currently being renovated.

The room size was large and had great tea and coffee facilities with chocolate and biscuits and water . Good supply of toiletries . Comfortable beds and nice table and chairs .

I’m not a fussy person so nothing for me. Some have&would say it’s needing updating but I can see past that as I spent my time in my lovely room & the balcony so didn’t care about that.

Fabulous! Because I was given a sea view room & it’s something I love! So as soon as I was shown my room was over the moon! Doors led out onto a balcony even better! Room was clean & tidy with a Locke welcome touch of chocolates along with obligatory tea coffee etc. Bed comfortable was pleased to have a toilet in the room as we’d booked for shared bathroom so that was another added bonus! Staff very friendly & helpful. Hotel is in process of being updated & will be beautiful once done. Had a lovely stay & spent most of my time on the balcony with drinks over looking the sea&beach so was happy as can be.

Fantastic place but the prices are creeping up due to the time of year, it's now cheaper to go to a caravan park for the week than stay here for the weekend which is a shame as me and my family love the place

We only had 1 pillow and 1 towel each for a 3 night stay. Bedding and towels were not changed while we were there. We didn’t mind the bedding so much but we did want spare towels. When we asked a member of staff we saw in the hallway, he did not speak any English so could not help. We waited at reception for 10 minutes and no one came so we came back later and someone was at the desk. Again we asked for new towels and this member of staff also did not speak any English so he had to call someone for us to speak to where we asked the guy on the phone if he can sort it and he said he’d be back in 20 mins and we were under the assumption it would be taken care of and when we came back to the room to discover it wasn’t, we didn’t bother asking again. We also had no facilities to hang any clothing, no wardrobe or coat hangers so just had to hang things off hooks randomly around the room. Only one plug socket which we could find, there was a double plug extension cable which was handy but it did limit what we could do/use at one time and also meant we had to boil the kettle on the bedroom floor which didn’t seem right. The water pressure in the shower was really poor. It was a trickle at best so it was really difficult to actually wash everything off, I couldn’t wash my hair the whole time as who knows how long it would have taken to get the product out. In terms of cleanliness, we didn’t have any sort of room checks or cleaning. There was a very nasty stain on the mattress and some on the duvet cover which paired with the lack of cleaning was quite concerning, however the rest of the room appeared to be clean. There were two open rooms, directly opposite and next door to us, which looked to be in the middle of a renovation or stage of development but looked almost abandoned and should have probably been closed off/locked.

It’s in an okay location, about 10/15 mins from the town centre. The rooms are priced very low so as somewhere to just sleep it’s okay. WiFi connection was pretty stable.

Nothing.. had to check out early. Couldn't handle 3 flights of stairs. Carpet in reception were was old and ravelled.advertised breakfast but not available..so checked into another hotel.very disappointed

Reception areas are a little dated but still fine.

The view from the room was lovely and the beds were comfy room was lovely and clean and new carpets my family enjoyed our stay and would return.
