Lovely characterful and spacious rooms , delicious breakfast - so rare to have freshly made vegetarian option for breakfast. Also the early morning Pre breakfast tray was a lovely touch.

The bar had music and loud guests until past 1am when your room is above the bar it’s hard to sleep. I requested robes and slippers and an ice bucket in my room on arrival there was only robes there no slippers or an ice bucket. The service was slow in the restaurant I had to chase things several times. I think the hotel could do with some touch ups the tiles in the bathroom were broken and need regrouting etc. When you pay £200+ a night I expect better.

The hotel rooms are nice. The location was great and food was good. The little pre breakfast treat delivered to your door was a nice touch.

The hand towels could have been exchanged when they were dirty as we left them on the shower floor to be changed, but they were re-hung. The car parking was not ideal and a little expensive, maybe some discount for hotel guests would help.

Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. The tray outside the room early is a bit quirky but worked well. The restaurant was good too. Any issue we had were dealt with promptly and effectively.

Like most hotels there was clearly a staff shortage, so the staff seemed a little stressed. Somehow the smell of the kitchen got into my room.

Great Room, Nice bar and restaurant. Good decor and fittings. Great to see Timothy Taylor's Beer on tap, a favourite of mine, would be good to see Welsh beers also.

This is a stunning hotel. We couldn’t fault it at all. The decor is as beautiful, beds were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave! Food was delicious and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful deco done to a very good standard and very good staff. Friendly and helpful. The breakfast tray is such a lovely, special touch and things like that make the difference.

It is more expensive than I’d have liked .. may have stayed another night if cheaper Bathroom was generally clean but floor needed a good hoover

There is no parking at the property, but we parked for free at the sister hotel a 5 minute walk away.

Comfortable, clean and well equipped room (Ocean room). The sea view was lovely and the breakfast tray in the morning (in addition to the wonderful breakfast in the restaurant) was a lovely touch. Despite the restaurant and bar being very busy, we couldn’t hear a thing in the room.. The staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. We will be back!

Was a bit disappointed that the decor in our room was scuffed, which being light colours is understandable, however, would have preferred to feel like I was fresh and clean. Cleaning wasn’t 100% but the beautiful decor and comfort of the bed make up for these minor things.

Food at the restaurant was exceptional and the breakfast tray in the morning was a special extra touch which was a lovely surprise.

Quite noisy bar across road (loud music , even with ear plugs, till 12) ,but am aware this is not the fault of the hotel
