Breakfast a bit disappointing as selection on offer very limited, unless you buy your English Breakfast at the bar, which we did for about £11 each, but still wasn't any good at all: not well cooked, not very well presented and we waited so long to get served it. Room furniture and hotel layout very dated needs a bit of revamp to go back to its former glory.

Me and my partner absolutely loved the stunning sea views from our room window. It was just to float on the sea just been across the road from the beach. A few minutes afar, down the road the famous Ramsgate Marina: amazing!.

Wish I had opted for Seaview as the rear facing room was noisy with extractor fan.

A mix-up with the date of my stay ,but this was via a booking site, not the hotel directly.

I use this hotel when I can. As usual, the staff are friendly helpfull and always accessible. The room appeared to be newly decorated ,comfortable, quiet, and clean.

Amongst the complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits in the room I had been left an open packet of what should have been 3 shortcake biscuits which only had 2 in it. My daughter who lives nearby came to breakfast with me. I had been told (mistakenly I think) that breakfast was served until 10am. We got there at 9.15 and a rude grumpy man more or less tutted and said he was clearing soon so we had to get what we wanted quickly. I told him that I had been told 10am, he said it was 9.30 on week days, this was later confirmed by the receptionist who apologised on behalf of the grumpy man. No need for rudeness when a genuine mistake was made.

I had a small single room which was just right for me. It was very clean. The bed was a bit creaky to sit on but was comfortable throughout the night. It was quiet with little noise outside the room despite being by the lift.

Do not book one of the cheaper rooms as we did because although we were on the 2nd floor it was at the back of the hotel and on the landing between 1st and 2nd floor, not very convenient when you are carrying a suitcase and a suit carrier.

Rooms were cold, heater/air conditioner did not work efficiently and caused a lot of condensation on the windows. We asked at reception if the heating could be checked and when we returned the heating was running but was not very effective. Breakfast was good, we had the continental breakfast and it was sufficient.

The only thing I didn't like was I could hear the music from downstairs as my room was just above the reception. that had a speaker on the ceiling, and my bed was just above it. The music went on till 23:30 ish

An offer of hot breakfast in with the price would have been nice. Continental available but cooked options without extra payment would have a bonus.

Although the hallways and rooms are a little dated, the bathrooms seem new, everything was clean and the bar and restaurant refit is really nice. The owners are obviously spending some money on the place

Pot of tea, rather than shared flasks would be nicer, to be honest. Bit slow to replenish certain items, ie croissants etc. even when quiet? Staff a bit inattentive, & robotic.

Good location, lovely sea view. Good parking, reasonably quiet road. Breakfast fine - had continental breakfast. Good room, with decent shower - good sleep on decent bed.

Good Continental breakfast, opened at 7am which was good for us as we wanted to get to Pegwell Bay PR for 8.30. Evening entertainment was good.
