Occasional drainage smells from the bathroom and kitchen sink, and plastic mattress protectors were crinkly sounding when you moved in bed and hot, especially for menopausal women, otherwise perfect!

Very clean with everything we could possibly need. Biscuits and a pint of milk left for our arrival,, very thoughtful 😁

Everything was top level, but the parking for me was to tricky to park as I have a6 Audi 🤣 but it’s nothing to do with the flat owners it’s just bad planning of the road. Also it’s not sound proof, I was enjoying a little of music with my neighbour upstairs 🤣 but when you are here you obviously exploring the area not sitting in flat watching telly 😎

The handbook could have contained some guidance on using the thermostat and boiler, as this was lacking when we arrived and found the apartment at 14 degrees! The bed in the master bedroom is a bit soft for our liking, so we struggled to sleep particularly well for our stay, which was a shame, as the bunk beds were quite comfy! There is a bit of a drain-like smell in the bathroom occasionally, which we appreciate is from the set-up with the macerator/pump that is being used, but our young child found it off-putting to be in there. The flat above the property was quite noisy during our stay in the evenings, which was a minor inconvenience admittedly, but I just wanted to ensure there is awareness of this for the owners.

We liked that the apartment was well-equipped, modern and is in an excellent location for either walking to the beach or into Paignton. The parking space was also very useful on a road where parking can be a bit tricky. Nice touch with the wine as a welcoming gift. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms was really helpful for us and others who travel with lots of stuff! Nice to have a modern TV where we could log in with apps. Heating was very effective and warmed up the apartment in a very quick amount of time.

It was just perfect for us and big enough for the 4 of us. We had everything we could have needed and more. The wine and biscuits on arrival were really kind also. We were lucky to be just a 2 minute walk to the local park, restaurants, beaches, and other facilities, and it was perfect for the days we didn't want to drive. My boys have absolutely loved our holiday to Salty Toes! Thank you 😊

The road where the flat is located is difficult to navigate if there is another oncoming vehicle Not a negative as such but worth mentioning that there are only two windows in the living room, both have magnetic curtains/ blinds but if you want natural light then people can see directly inside (so put clothes on before you leave the shower!)

Nothing we didn't like but a suggestion - my daughter is disabled with limited mobilty. A hand rail in the shower would be good, you can get nice designer ones as she has them at home & by the toilet. Also the step is quite high into the apartment so an additional step would have been good, something that could be movable so not needed for able people

We liked everything about the flat, it is a gem.

The property was exceptionally clean, had a private parking space and is extremely well located for the beach and water park (both a 5 minute flat walk away), train station and harbour.

Parking was tricky, but better than having none at all, towels would have been useful as they're bulky to pack. It would have been helpful to have 2 keys, as we sometimes went out separately.

The fact it was so clean, that thought had gone into making it attractive to spend time in, and the location, also the guest book had lots of tips for being in the area. Hosts were responsive when contacted.
