Nothing - it was all good.

A very special one night stay. We really liked it here. Although booked for one night just to break up the journey between the east and west coasts of Scotland, this ended up being a highlight of our Scottish tour instead, and we would have loved to have spent more time here. The location is amazing, secluded but not too remote, perched on the cliff tops overlooking the sea and with fabulous views all round. Our hosts were quite simply superb. Totally friendly and welcoming. They made us feel completely at home immediately and catered for everything we might need. Breakfast was included in the cost and was tasty and filling. Our optional evening meal was a joy. Cooked on site by our hosts and a great end to the day. The house itself is spacious and provides a shared lounge to relax in, as well as our well appointed en-suite bedroom which had the comfiest of beds. There’s plenty of parking space outside for your motor too. I quite simply have nothing negative to say about Salmon Landings. We absolutely loved it. I would recommend it to any of my family and friends. We really hope to visit again in the near future.

Beautiful clean and comfortable stay with absolutely stunning sea views. Julie and kevan and the team dog included 😀 made us feel most welcome and are very attentive to all of your needs. Best sleep I have had in age's, definitely would stay again.

Great Place and real godo value for money. The host made us feel at home right from the beginning. A fireplace with real fire and luxury issues in the bedrooms with tea, coffe, real duvest woth down, etc. so happy to have been here and we would gladly visit again. The break fast in the atrium with a view on the wild coast and sea, and silver plates etc was really nice.

Set in it's own seven acre cliff top estate with a private beach this feels more like a country house hotel than a B&B. Very friendly and helpful hosts who greeted us with a silver service afternoon tea! The whole place has been immaculately renovated in an intriguing and quirky style, and all of our three bedrooms were luxurious and very well equipped. Guests share the elegant living and dining room which house an eclectic array of artifacts sparking much conversation. Apparently this space has a spectacular view all the way to the Orkneys when not hidden by the mist and rain. Breakfast was a welcome change from the traditional Scottish offering and was delicious and bountiful. One to return to.
