It was quite warm during our stay, so slept with some windows open - at times street noise a bit loud and invasive. This did not spoil our stay, and there was an abundance of ear plugs in bedside drawer if needed.

No complaints. We did hear some road noise at night but this was not a problem for us.

We were all impressed with the facilities in the property. Everything we could have asked for. The property was very clean and well presented . I think we would have made more use of the balcony had the weather been better. Such is life ! 🥲 The location was excellent and the hosts’ recommendations of restaurants to eat and things to do were first class. I would also like to compliment Lesley and Jo-Anne’s communication which was excellent. We were able to check in about two hours early and this was greatly appreciated. Another party was due to check in on our last day but we were able to store our luggage at the property which was great help. We were recommended this property by friends who have stayed there a number of times and we would not hesitate to add our own highest recommendation. Thank you both for a very enjoyable stay.

Have to mention the nightclub opposite, but appreciate that the hosts have no control of the inconsiderate revellers, who enjoyed shouting at each other when leaving the nightclub. The description says the apartment is soundproofed, but the noise came in via the windows - this is a historic building, so maybe there are rules regarding the type of windows allowed. This would not stop us returning, and did not deter the enjoyment of our stay.

Communication from hosts friendly and professional. Access to property very easy. Location was great to get out and about in York, with bonus of bus stops outside. The apartment provided everything we needed for our short stay, and the welcome basket was an lovely extra thought from the hosts.

Price was the higher end but needed the flexibility of an apartment over a hotel. I didn't know what to do with the rubbish so had to leave it in the apartment.

Noise from the street at night. Vented windows let further noise in and could not close it off. Toilet flush is difficult to operate.

Perfect location. Lots of space, superclean and comfortable, fantastic shower. The owners go above and beyond keeping milk and bottled water in the fridge and a fantastic gift basket. Will be back for our next York trip.

Toilet was hard to flush and a drains smell in foyer, lift and upper floor landings. However must stress there was no smell whatsoever in the apartment

Fantastic apartment with everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean throughout. Comfy beds. Very well equipped kitchen. Spacious lounge with tv and bathroom with spa bath and shower. We were left a welcome basket with biscuits, chocolate, jams etc. and milk, butter and water in the fridge. This apartment exceeded our expectations and we would recommend and definitely stay again. The apartments exceeded expectations - spacious, well-equipped, fantastic location. Entry was by door code and we were kept up to date on the day of arrival as to when they were ready. Would not hesitate to recommend.
