Appeared very understaffed. Staff on shift were doing every job which meant long waits at times for fixing plumbing problem and service at breakfast. Food wasn’t available after 7pm so I struggled to find anywhere to eat as the town shuts down early on a Sunday and after an 8 hour journey to get here this was problematic. Fortunately found a chip shop open which not ideal but at least I got fed.

The staff were amazing. So friendly and hard working. Breakfast very tasty, well cooked and great value for money. Cleaners observed doing a fantastic job, moved furniture to clean etc

Our room was a bit dark

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff , great restaurant and lovely outdoor seating area . Stayed here a few times now and always pleased with our visit , good sized car park on the sea front near the town .

Noise between floors which woke me up multiple times. Seriously short staffed across the whole place, kept waiting for checkin, at the bar and at breakfast. This isn’t the staffs fault, who were trying their best, but clearly need to employ more of them.

The room was not cleaned nor the beds made during our 3day stay even though the clean my room sign was left on the door whenever we went out The restaurant service was poor and the sirloin steak was full of gristle other food adequate

Windows were difficult to open and close as the catches were either broken or stiff. There were signs of damp around the bedroom window. There was a crude repair to the bathroom window frame and there was staining on the bath panel and toilet seat was loose.

Excellent location, friendly staff and very good breakfasts. Had one evening meal in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

Breakfasts are excellent with plenty of choice. Dinner is pub food but good within that description. Room was spacious and well appointed - 2 chairs. Decor is a little tired but it has been exceptional wet weather this winter.

Nothing to complain about.

Great hotel, nice and clean, very comfortable bed, the food was very good. The staff were excellent , nothing was too much trouble for them, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a wonderful location,it is literally a stones throw from the beach, there is a really nice promenade to walk along the coast. The views from the hotel are great, you can see across the Solent.
