There wasn’t a lift which made it difficult for taking luggage up the stairs. Fortunately the young man at reception on the day we arrived carried our luggage up the stairs.

Overpriced for a hotel in need of renevation. No lifts, very noisy room even though on top floor. Wind whistled throught the windows all night, could hear street noise and next room chat/tv clearly and shower wouldn't adjust.

Location close to railway station and main shopping area. Staff were very friendly and offered to call when room was ready, also looked after bags for free.

Nothing. Only remark is that it was a little too warm in the room to sleep, but overall we had a great night and a wonderful stay!

We had a very spacious room, with an extra sofa and a substantial bathroom (bath and shower). It was clean and warm (maybe a little too warm to sleep). We had a wonderful stay, as the staff even brought our luggage to our room and gave us information on busses and trains to get to our next location.

I noticed there was no extractor fan in the bathroom.

The hotel room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the little chocolate on the bed was a lovely traditional touch. Plus I am not a tea or coffee drinker so having hot chocolate sachets in the room was a really nice idea. Thanks for a lovely stay and I will definitely recommend it.

It's just a supply and demand thing - Oxford hotels are all over priced. This one was not particularly bad though and so in the end I guess it's value for money.

Fantastic location for Oxford, very comfortable and convenient. I went by car, but it is walking distance from the station (and from the centre of Oxford).

The room wasn't massive!

The hotel is perfectly located for where my event took place. The very kind man at reception was very helpful in helping me get a parking space at a sensible price.

The hot water took ages to come through, the shower leaked under the screen. the bed is in the wrong position, too close to the window and bathroom door, we constantly hit our shins on the legs of the bed. The breakfast in the cafe next door was not great and pricey.

No fridge & no lift.

Our 2nd time staying here. We felt safe & comfortable. Although it was a walk away from the main city centre, it was a pleasant & safe walk along the main road. It's v near to the train station. The Sainbuury outlet below gave us a v easy access to buy snacks & water. The hotel staff were nice & helpful.

The room was very warm at night even though the heating was off. It does have air conditioning, however, after the first night, we just kept the window open a bit, and it was much better.

The bedroom and shower room were a good size and the beds were very comfy. The location is excellent - so central and close to the train and bus stations.

The front of house staff were brilliant. We had trouble finding the location of the local car park but Sandra was brilliant & went above and beyond.
