Seriously did not even have service any where in the hotel and they charge a hefty fee for the WiFi. I was there for work so really needed some internet

Liked the atmosphere … kept getting lost to though because I was not given an instructions to how to get to my room. And the floors do not work the same way like different elevators will take you to different places for the same floor number and no link

I was looking forward to spending time in the spa, swimming and using the gym. Unfortunately just a couple of days before our arrival we were informed that the spa would be closed. There were quite a few of us staying at the hotel, but the rooms we got were very hit and miss. We had no bottled water but others did. Our tea, coffee, biscuits were not replenished, and we had an ironing board but no iron. My sister had an iron but no ironing board. Others were supplied with robes and slippers and even a fridge but not us. I'm aware that they are undergoing extensive refurbishment, but I'm sure more effort could have been put into dressing the rooms to make up for the lack of other facilities.

The location of this hotel is excellent, close to the beach, park, and shops. The breakfast service and our special dinner were both superb with friendly staff who looked after us well.

I thought the room was very small. The bed was very old and creaky. Our room was right near the heating/air conditioning which rumbled the whole time and made sleeping difficult. I don't think this room should be available to customers.

I liked the price and the last minute availability. I'm grateful for the tea and coffee facilities and the bath.

Arrived only to find room not ready said to come back later and would give a different room only to be left told that wasn’t ready either when we come back and couldn’t use pool while we waited as Spa pool all closed didnt tell us till we got there as this is why we booked also then told us it was £25 a day to park

The very small size of the room and the fact that the double bed was pushed up against the wall, as there was no way to have otherwise. The room was too small for two people. Also there were loose floor tiles in the bathroom.

There was a fire alarm test that we weren’t told was taking place. Also had two separate members of staff knock on the door between 10-10:30 telling us we need to leave, we had paid for late check out which was 12pm.

The property on the whole was ok, it was just the attention to detail in our room which was disappointing. The curtains did not fit the windows and it looked awful which was a shame.

It has a style to it and would have been amazing in its time. We. Were given an upgrade but the room was disappointing.

Radiators were on full blast on arrival and only 1 window would open as others painted shut. At our request the radiators were turned down (no control nobs or thermostat) but they came on again in the middle of the night making the room very hot. Swimming pool and gym not available due to renovation work

The bed was very uncomfortable didn't sleep well came home with a bad back people coming in around 4am woke us up then the fire alarm went off at 6am...

The location is very good it was a very clean and tidy hotel staff very friendly and we loved the super fast running hot bath as we only have a wet room shower in are bungalow.

- Television signal wasn’t good enough. - Balcony was not in service (please keep renovating and improving). - Paying for parking is an inconvenient tax (£24 a day).

Great location with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Beautiful garden and a good breakfast buffet. Sea view was perfect.

The hotel was having a lot of renovation and sometimes very noisy. Was woken up very early by the hotel moving the bins outside the hotel room.

The room was a really good size for the money. The breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice. The hotel bar was very good and value for money and very comfortable.

No heating was given a electric heater no towel heater in the bathroom so had damp towels as reading in the room you had to ask for your room to be cleaned and replenished

Room smelled like new plasterboard or paint or musty. My room was also MILES from reception. A real hike. Hence I put up with the smell,rather than trek back to reception with all my stuff.

Location was excellent and staff very professional and helpful Cream tea was nice. Ideal for going to the pavilion theatre.
