Bed was a bit hard and the apartment was very warm.

The location of this property was excellent. Also the security of the building was really good. Well appointed.

I think a 'Welcome Pack' would have been good as we had a long journey eg.....milk/coffee. Some kitchen items were missing eg.corkscrew, scissors and tea-strainer.As the rental price is comparable with top end hotels...a few toiletries eg.shampoo etc.would have been welcome.

The flat was very comfortable and clean. The location is excellent. It feels very secure .It was very quiet despite being on the Royal Mile.

Even though there is a lift, there are still steps to climb. Hard to manage with big luggage. Sofa bed is not very stable and rather uncomfortable, not suitable for big size people.

The pull out couch didn't leave much room for negotiation in the living room and the vast amount of extra pillows and bedding made the closet crowded and hard to utilise. The bathroom could use an update.

The hosts and the location was just perfect. You can't get a better location. Its the center of the center of the city. It is a must stay location, with everything you need within 2-3 mins away.

The location was PERFECT!! John was so amazingly friendly, helpful and put us all at ease. Couldn’t have been better. We stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert and felt very welcomed, settled and reassured.

Shower water pressure could be stronger (old building?), elevator stopped working on our second to last day (could have been worse - we got all our stuff up!)

You can’t beat the location! Quick walk to castle, waverley, hop on/off bus stops. Pubs and restaurants galore! Also ELEVATOR for the win. And laundry! And windows that open!

The bathroom could have been cleaner as there was mouldy sections at the shower/bath tap end - can be sorted with a bit of bleach - and a new shower curtain would help too. My son's mentioned the wifi coverage as it was a bit patchy - one of the modern day necessities. Black out blinds or curtains would also help as the curtains there let too much light through. We also couldn't get the hot water to work, my wife wanted a bath on the final evening and ran it only to find that the water was cold. Suggest including some additional info in the welcome pack about how to heat the water and how the shower works too as the switch on the shower unit works opposite to the way you would expect - to turn it off you needed to move the switch to the bottom position rather than the top as you would expect.

Location was perfect for what we wanted to do while we were there. The facilities were good with the ability to cook if need be and it was much better having an apartment than having to be in a hotel as it was much more relaxed. Milk was provided in the fridge for us on arrival which was a nice touch. There was enough space for all 4 of us and the sofa bed was a lot comfier than expected.

Ultimate location right on the Royal Mile, and right in the center of the action on the Royal Mile. Couldn't pick a better location.

The stove in the kitchen did not work. Wouldn't turn on, tried everything, even the switch. Requested no stairs, there were many steps, I'm handicapped. Was given the wrong apt. number to begin with, it was a big problem getting into the building and finding the right apt.
