The only comments would be parking is a short walk away if you have a case to carry but it’s only £5 a night so not bad. The room was nice as we said but the bed was against the wall so would have been better if you moved it over say 12inch I know it is difficult but that’s the only things we would say.

When you first see the build you do wonder as it is mainly a pub, however once you go in and meet the friendly staff and are shown the nice clean rooms with plenty of tea and coffee, nice clean showers and all you need this makes up for it. Also it helps having a side door so you do not have to come and go through the bar. They have a reasonable menu and a separate dining area, breakfast you order either in your room or in the dining area and give a time the night before as well as place you order which arrives very promptly once you are seated. You have a choice of fully cooked or cereal, pancakes or even all of your hungry and the food is very nice well done to all the staff.

The hotel is also a busy pub, so be prepared to share the restaurant space with the crowds - and their kids and dogs. (On a nearby table the owners let their dog wee against the table leg - which somewhat spoiled our dinner. But that was not the hotel's fault!)

Good location on the edge of Barmouth town centre. We had a good night in a comfortable room on the 1st floor. Staff were very attentive at breakfast and helpful with check-in, and with advice regarding car parking.

The noise that went on till 12.30 on a Thursday night. We needed to sleep but the bass beat was horrendous.

It was quirky and eclectic but very clean and everyone was so friendly. I would definitely come again but would just stay up and join in till 12.30 like everyone else.

Amazing From Start to Finish! We were a big party of 12, came down for a family members 13th Birthday, The Staff were very kind and accommodating to anything we asked of them. Rooms were beautiful loved them! We had breakfast booked in and also had our Sunday lunch booked in. Service was excellent! Can’t thank the staff members enough for everything! Definitely recommend and 100% be staying again! Thankyou all x

😀😀😀Staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The room was lovely, comfortable, and very clean, never stayed at a place where they gave you so much coffee, milk, sugar and even hot chocolate in the room, which was a nice extra, had full English breakfast which was cooked perfect and plenty, car parking available close by for a small charge of £5 for our entire stay, will be returning for another perfect happy stay 😀
