Only small issue with the additional payments for power and the dog. It would be easier to include these in the overall cost.

The accommodation was really nice, a lot more spacious than expected. Area was fab! Easy self check in and had everything you need for a self catering stay

For start before we even began our holiday we received an email stating a charge of £150 for a security deposit. At no time during our booking we’re we made aware of this, very poor communication from the start at no point during our stay did anyone from the team come and greet us after we stayed multiple times during the evening and day to meet them so had no clue where or what we could do around, thus we had to “figure it out ourselves”. The surrounding areas of the property are very limited, the photographs that we saw before booking made the property and surrounding areas seem larger than what they actually were if you were coming as a big family this wouldn’t be the place for you. Upon exiting our cabin on the last day to remove all waste that we had collected, I had a brief encounter with one of the staff member however at NO POINT did they even say hello. Thus we felt very out of place and uncomfortable.

Very quiet and rural, clean and compact.

Nothing, though possibly the fact that it was a little too far out of town to walk to a restaurant,

The location and the fact that there are several lodges so family members were staying nearby.

There’s no footpath access to Loch Tay or Killin. You can walk on the road to Killin, which joins to a lovely path after 15 mins, taking you the rest of the way into the village but the road can feel a bit intimidating. That being said all cars were kind, gave us room, we just followed the country code. Access to the Loch is via Killin, drove down for a swim and wander but walked it later for dinner/drinks. Took torches for walking back in the dark, which were essential

Great base point for exploring Loch Tay and Killin area. Hosts were lovely, area is stunning and we had a great time. Very good with the dog too. Would recomend xxx

The lodge was tired looking. Although the owners are slowing making improvements the kitchen was old, including utensils, cooker etc. We also didn’t like the extra charge for electricity. This should be included in the price.

We did not realise they were terraced lodges and the walls were extremely thin which meant we could hear the couple next door and it was extremely disruptive at times. The bed was also very hard and very uncomfortable, did not get much sleep for the 3 nights we were there.

The lodge location was excellent, and it was very simple and clean!

Stay was not long enough !

The lodge was very well equipped, clean and cosy ! Great location, set within a picturesque area just outside Killin. The lodge was a great place to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The peaceful environment and lack of distractions can be very appealing.

Having to pay extra for electricity (£4.50 per night) and towels (£5 for a pack for 2). The tiny double sofa (triple in the photos), the bare minimum crockery, cutlery and glassware. The oven which took forever to cook, even at 'full'. The buzzing sound of the electricity meter constantly, directly outside the bedroom. The view of the car park immediately in front of the cabin...and the other cabjns (cleverly cropped out of the photos). That the cabin is part of, and connected to a row of four (not clear from the photo), so little privacy. Some of these things would have been less irritating if it wasn't £105 per night (plus the £4.50 and towels). Dated decor and clearly very old furniture. Would not recommend, would not go back.

The owner was nice and it was clean.
