Nothing really. Maybe put some written instructions in the room about the heat thermostat.

Helpful staff, good breakfast, some walking paths nearby and bus stops just out the door.

Wardrobe hanging space somewhat high up for short people; could lower the hanging rail a bit maybe!

Every thing clean and tidy and smart-looking. Slightly bijou in size but fine for one or two nights. Great breakfast. Couldn't make use of lunch/dinner on our visit but the menu looked comprehensive enough.

The accommodation is basic but adequate, no frills. There are alot of stairs to the top floor which didn't worry us as we were travelling light but for some it could be a challenge.

The breakfast was great, the staff lovely, we had the top attic 2 rooms and bath, only a bath no shower which is what we asked for. Amazing view from the room and it suited us perfectly. Lovely area.

on arrival we had to wait a short while till the boss came back with the room keys. the mattress on the bed was too soft for me, i prefer a firm mattress for my back there seemed to be a leak behind toilet as there was a towel behind which was dripping by morning there was no hairdryer in the room

the location was good for us, the staff were super friendly and help full the room was on top floor, and was good for a one night stay tea making facilities in room the bedroom and bathroom were very clean breakfast was very good, cereal, toast and full cooked breakfast served, with tea, coffee, or fruit juice

Heating was controlled online by a smart metre, couldn’t switch it off so had to sleep stark naked at 24.5 Celcius. Heated towel rail was also switched on permanently, no switch to turn it off.

Convenient for the railway station and a drink at the pub, if there had been time. Clean and comfortable however 5 degrees too warm.

The service in the restaurant was poor resulting in us being told that we didn't have to pay. The quality of the food at dinner was also poor. The cooked breakfast was good but the continental breakfast was just cereal and toast.

The location was excellent, very close to the ferry terminal. The parking is easy in a public car park very close to the property. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Advert saying room with sea view, but houses front of the room windows covering view. It was a very hot room and I didn't find instructions on how to turn off the heating. The ventilation unit close to the window was noisy.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, great location, tasty food.

Noise from next door pub - Hope & Anchor over Easter was very noisy in the evenings with groups outside my window. Not sure why there was no servicing of the room during my stay of 5 nights - no toilet paper or tea & milk even though I asked for it twice.

Area pleasant, great breakfast & coffee, good shower and cosy room.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The pub was excellent value and included breakfast. Very conveniently located for a small pub crawl (3 bars within 50yds). Although there was no pub car park, the adjacent "pay&display" car park was only £3 for 24 hours.

The bed was a bit hard. You wouldn't want to lie in in the morning for too long. The toilet paper was very cheap and thin.

Good sized room, fantastic view, comfortable chairs, good breakfast. We were worried it would be noisy being above the pub but it was actually quite quiet.

The shower room was small but functional and that's all you need. However the shower was looking quite sad and needs attention. It worked well enough, just in need of renovation. Which it may well get in time under the fairly recent new ownership.

A warm welcome at the bar, even though I was quite early. This was no problem and I was shown to my room straight away which was appreciated. The room was in the pub next door (owned by the same people and featuring a small local's bar) The room itself was clean and tidy, a little dated but not unpleasantly so. The bed was a superking, relatively new and blissful to sleep in. For me, the bed is the most important part of a room, the rest being window dressing, and this one did not disappoint. Good tea and coffee selection. I stayed because I had booked a speciality dinner evening. The service and food in the restaurant was very good, and somewhere to remember for the future. Breakfast in the morning was also excellent. Overall, exceptional value for money and I can very much recommend either a stay or the restaurant.

Needs an anti-slip mat in the shower and a tray for the soap/shower gel.

Accommodation was excellent. Very clean, tidy and warm (too warm if anything). I would thoroughly recommend it. Food was also very good.
