Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesGreat location, just off Chiswick High Road and a few minutes walk to a Tube station. The bed was very comfortable, the room spacious, and the staff friendly. The bathroom was also spacious for a city hotel. We only stayed one night, but it seems a great spot to stay a while with a kitchenette, good space, proximity to the Tube and markets on the High Road. It's not inexpensive, but a great value for London.

United KingdomThe hotel needs to put proper directions on their website and for Booking.com. We belatedly discovered that the tube does not stop at the nearest station, apart from early morning and late evening, so we had to get off at the next station. We were misdirected by subway staff and locals onto 2 buses and ended up even further away. We should have taken a different train back to Turnham Green, which is near to the hotel. We eventually got an Uber. This was stressful with heavy luggage and 2 dogs. The staff member was very sympathetic and said he'd get us a drink to recover. However, when we returned to the bar, we stood waiting for so long (with 2 staff at reception, both apparently dealing with a new arrival) that we just left and got a drink elsewhere. No one told us about the cocktail "Happy Time" so we missed that on the 1st night. No one showed us the gym, and we were disappointed that there was no access at all to the patio. However, the hotel is lovely and in a nice area, and some staff were friendly and welcoming. We would consider staying there again, but think it could be even better with a bit of tweaking to customer service and travel information. It would also be good if there were offers on longer stays.
Location is very good for walks along the river, and Chiswick has plenty of local shops, bars etc. May not be best for those planning to be in Central London. Interesting decor and bar, not the usual bland chain hotel. At the moment restaurant times are restricted, but they do plan to extend the time food is available. We met friendly locals and the dogs were happy.

When we arrived, Anthony, checked us in and he was very welcoming and friendly! The room was lovely, perfect for me and my daughter! Our stay was for seven nights, so the kitchenette was perfect, as it included tableware, a microwave, mini refrigerator and freezer, a kettle plus tea and coffee! The room was quiet as well! The breakfast menu had many options and we enjoyed everything order we tried! The cafe/lounge area was so lovely as well!
