Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomCleanliness was a bit lacking… main area floor was sticky 😬 and very obvious lack of cleaning behind bathroom door, also kitchen a bit grubby, kettle strangely up on a high shelf ( not safe really ) but fridge, bathroom units bed linen towels etc all clean and nicely presented.
Amazing location, lovely outlook, nice bright space, comfy bed, great value for the area, pleasant staff, nice big desk / table, good amount of storage if needed

United KingdomMy friend Carolyn Odgers was very unhappy with her bed in a different room to mine. I had recommended Roland Apts to her so I was upset about this. What was her room number? I want to avoid it if I book again. There was only 1 wine glass and 1 tumbler for drinking water from which was is poor.
Love the location. My room was ok except floor seemed a bit dirty and only 1 wine glass and 1 tumbler.

Belgiumkitchenette facilities are minimal. In most rooms there is no handschower.
The apartments are very centrally located, just off the Old Brompton Road with shops and restaurants nearby. The staff is very accomodating; if something is not right they try to put you in another room or if you need something they will swiftly organise it.

United KingdomNoisy at night. I stayed in Chelsea because my son was having an operation in The Royal Marsden Hospital. I booked for a week because I did not know how long he had to stay in hospital.luckily he was able to go home after three days I would have appreciated a refund for checking out early because of the circumstances but the accommodation was not interested.

United KingdomOur room was opposite a street light and as the room didn't have any curtains, the light shone through the side of the window all night. it was also a bit noisey as we had a corner room. The shower was a bit small and tight.
The location is excellent. 2 tube stations are within a 10 minute walk.

The people giving the room key were very helpful and gentle. The hotel location is very close to the bus stop and tube station. Also, if you leave early and need to drop your bag somewhere they offer to keep your stuff freely.

United KingdomThe bathroom radiator was not working (apparently they had to turn them off in the whole building) and the flooring was marble, beautiful to see but incredibly cold on the feet! My wife got tired of it after awhile and started using shoes to go to the toilet.
