I can't really say much about what I didn't like. The signal was poor, but we didn't go there for signal, we went there for a get away.

It was cosy and the staff was friendly!

Pull out bed a bit hard but you are camping! Myself and another family were staying which was fine for the 1 welfare unit containing a shower & toilet but imagine it could be an issue if more guest needed to use it.

Quite location tucked away from the world. Lovey views and plenty of open space, fields & woods to walk the dog. As it was a campsite I wasn't expecting a tv in my pod so that was an added bonus.

Only one decent toilet & shower to share for all campers. The other single toilet smelled terrible & the door didn’t shut at all. Need more toilets as the wait was quite worrying, lol

Lovely location, great accommodation. As a solo traveller l felt safe. Loved watching the swallows & horses over the fields. Useful to have kettle, microwave, toaster, TV & fridge too.

We had limited signal/Internet access on our phones and there is none available in the pods - that's ok, we understand that was a reality before we went, but it made it difficult to hot-spot our phones for the TV etc. There were only 2 toilets and one was within the same block as a shower so at times we were waiting around to use the toilet etc. Not a huge deal but with other campers/pod users, it did mean we had to be tactical about going to the bathroom/our morning showers.

The view and the set up are really good if you like 1 step up from camping! The bed is pretty comfortable and the toilet/shower was clean and not too far of a walk from our pod. Host was absolutely lovely and very accommodating, lots of lovely walking available around and we were lucky enough to have EXCELLENT weather. We were totally relaxed, noise was at a minimum and because we took a fan the pod wasn't too hot. Local town isn't too far at all so easy to collect supplies for cooking and the fire pits/bbq available made for a lovely relaxed evening sitting and chilling on the little porch area.

Camping field is very close to the house. The pods and tents in the field are very close together. There is one small portacabin which has a shower and a toilet, this was clean and had plenty of hot water. There is also a separate portaloo, which was dirty and smelly. More showers and toilets are needed. The listing states it has a double bed, but it's a sofa bed, which is uncomfortable.

Easy to find using Google maps. Rolling fields, forest, lakes. Quiet location, very little noise from the roads. Not too far from Tiptree by car, which has supermarkets, bakeries, takeaways, pharmacy etc. There are 2 pods in the field. Wheelbarrow full of fire wood available to buy for £15, which is enough to last one night. The pod was cosy, sofa bed, small TV, small fridge, kettle, toaster, 2 plates, 2 bowls, cutlery, tea towel. Pull out dining table was a good size, 2 stools provided. Hanging rail for clothes and shelf above that too. Window at rear of pod, which opens wide and has a curtain. Glass door to enter the pod, which has a curtain for privacy. This was stiff and difficult to lock. Small metal garden table and 2 chairs on porch. Small barbecue and fire pit on gravel in front of wooden porch. Small fire extinguisher provided under TV table. Shower and toilet in portacabin, which was clean and hot water plentiful. Toilet paper and hand soap provided.

Pod ceiling covered in cobwebs and I hate (scared) spiders above me. But didn't/ wouldn't complain as it was last minute booking and out of season.

Loved the pod. So warm . Perfect size. Bed comfy . Shower was hot and powerful. Fire pit provided (buy or bring firewood) . Made glamping in February perfect .
