WiFi isn’t featured on the list of available facilities. But come on guys…. It’s 2024, WiFi is the norm so I didn’t check. (According to reviews, I’m far from alone) I appreciate it wasn’t listed but you know there is little to no cellular data signal there either and you could have warned us of this communication blackout before hand. 5 days is a long time with no data what so ever. We were unable to study in the privacy of our room and instead had to head to the bar…. Where no studying took place :) even in the bar the WiFi kept dropping.

It’s a beautiful hotel in an idyllic location. Ample parking, comfortable and clean with very helpful , friendly staff. The bar is across the road so there was no bar noise/disturbance.

No wifi - which we knew about in advance - but the telephone and 5G reception was very patchy. Good wifi at the main building though which was across the road.

Located in the lovely village of Wentworth. Very clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were good and the staff were very accommodating in finding us a table for dinner despite having a large birthday party to manage. Plenty of parking.

stayed at Green King pubs before and bedrooms have been disappointing. This one was excellent and spotless and a very comfortable bed. Dinner excellent and fairly priced. Breakfast good and choice requested was followed.

no room-cleaning during stay ( rural, so spiders in several places ); towels not changed daily, so wet after first use and remained damp; over-the-bath shower was tricky ( I am over 70 and less nimble ); minimal toilet-roll supply available ( though I didn't ask staff for more, so my fault ); traffic more prevalent than anticipated, though relatively quiet beyond midnight, but made crossing the road to the main building require 'vigilance'; NB: these are 'niggles' rather than complaints, intended solely to paint a full picture of our stay.

excellent location for the purpose of the trip; staff were extremely helpful and courteous, despite being very busy; Room was small but comfortable with adequate storage capability; Comfortable bed with reading lights both sides; Restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced; breakfast was 'included' in our deal, and was very good in both quality and quantity, with many options to select from; overnight parking was excellent; provision for 'out-of-hours' contact was available if needed; local village 'amenities' like post-office / convenience store / tea-room etc - easily accessed by a few minutes' stroll. Beautiful local Church.

We didnt really like the volume of the background music both in the bar and also in the breakfast room. It could of been a bit quieter..we are seniors and have difficulty hearing conversations in a noisy background

Nothing that we didn't like but worth noting that the rooms are in a separate building on the opposite side of the road and our room was on the ground floor at the front and literally about 18 inches from the road - not much traffic on the Sunday night we stayed but was a little bit noisier on the Monday morning .

Staff were great, nothing too much trouble. The food was excellent - we had dinner and breakfast. Room was comfy but would have benefitted from a small sofa or 2 armchairs at the end of the bed rather than having to sit on the bed to watch TV.

Nothing apart from there was no hot water or power in the morning due to a power cut. So l wasn’t able to shower or see anything as the room was in total darkness. Bit stressful but not any one’s fault.

Some of the rooms have bad road noise. We paid at the top of what this accommodation is worth IMHO.

The staff were friendly and helpful and agreed to move us to a different room. Some of the rooms are right on the road and suffer from traffic noise, The couple at the back are much quieter. After we were moved, all was good. Nice, clean room and comfortable bed.

A minor point but very poor phone signal in room and unable to access wifi. Not an issue for us but could be worrying if travelling alone. A grab handle above the bath would help when using the shower. The car park exit is blind and straight onto the main road.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Great room. Comfortable beds. Enjoyed excellent dinners in the restaurant.

The WiFi didn’t work in the rooms despite there being a wireless access point in the room. I was unable to get any work done in the room.
