The room on the ninth floor that we got was noisy. The shower needed to be fixed as well.

The location and the food is great. The standard room is decent size and a little upgrade is super.Walking distance from Vauxall bus and train. good connectivity to Cambridge, Kew Gardens, and other parts.We are vegetarians.Breakfast choices are good. We also had lunch and that was great as well. This was our second stay in less than a week here. Unfortunately the first night, we got a room that was noisy. I expressed my concern the next day and they were very kind to give me a room that was quiet and had no street noise. The rooms are clean, the bed and the mattresses are good. Coffee machine is good.Check in and check out is well managed. The gym had good equipment. The pool is a sweet indoor pool .I would definitely recommend it.

We had booked an executive double room with a view over the Thames, with a request for the view of Westminster rather than Battersea. It was our 25th wedding anniversary, so we wanted it to be extra special. We were told that our request had been noted, but could not be guaranteed. I had booked this at least 4-5 months in advance. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told there was no availability for that view. What a shame. How far in advance does one need to book to get this? We were told the following night we could have it. Well, we were only there for one night for a special occasion. Oh well. We had been given an upgrade to a suite, which was nice, but it felt like it was just to fobb us off. We didn’t need a kitchenette with a microwave and a hob. We booked that room for the view. Unfortunately, that was a bit disappointing. The lifts and some hallways are very dark. It could be a bit intimidating when standing in the lift with other people, especially for women. The breakfast area is beautiful, but all the food is so spread out and with lots of people there it gets a bit stressful. There were quite a few queues for the coffee machine. By the time my husband and I went to the buffet a few times, we ended up eating separately really.

Lovely welcome when entering the hotel. Friendly staff. Nice pool, even though not very big. We enjoyed the sauna and steam room as well. Nice and hot. These facilities need to be booked before and you receive 30 minute slots. Not very long really, but it wasn’t busy and we stayed a bit longer. Lovely breakfast- lots of variety. Everything we ate tasted good. We had a small plate of chocolates delivered to our room on the day we arrived, which was a nice touch. Beautiful bathroom with a bath tub and walk in shower. We received a complimentary entry to the river view lounge, which was very much appreciated. Complimentary snacks an and drinks during the day.

Just one small niggle. Our room, 129, was next to the gym and when equipment was being used in the gym it was quite noisy in our room, from quite early on a morning.

Light/control panel in room. I liked the control panel for air con/ curtains etc but didn't find it practical for light switches. Would just be easier to have normal light switches. Coffee machine at breakfast restaurant is slow and causes large queues. Its not fast enough for a busy restaurant environment. An option for just filter coffee you can self serve near the hot water section for the tea would be helpful. People also don't know how to use it (which buttons to select) straight away which also makes it slower.

Staff were all attentive, helpful and friendly. Room comfy and had everything needed for a short stay.

Some staff difficult to deal with which was a shame as 50% are really friendly and helpful. Difficult to get to on the underground.

I didn’t like the look of the pool, didn’t really use it… only went to the sauna for about 30mins to unwind. About my room.. This isn’t a major issue, there was the smell coming from the drains and toilets. I mentioned to the manager as I was leaving and he took note of it. He was very lovely very nice to talk to.

Very nice! The room was convenient.. the space was good.. very tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The buttons for setting up the room temperature/lights was a first for me. Thought that was a special feature. Overall a lovely stay. Sauna was nice. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
