The only thing that could have been improved would have been slightly clearer instructions to find the turnoff for the house.

This was a lovely spot, gloriously comfortable, excellent breakfast, very private, and well equipped. The river view was superb, the walks and access to all the places we wanted to visit was great. We will certainly be back

Location fabulous, cottage was way beyond our expectations… the photos do not do this property justice… it is gorgeous. A view from every room, peaceful, proximity to the estuary… just stunning location and great place to stay… lovely breakfast too!

Everything about River View is lovely, the cottage is perfect and has amazing views. The breakfast is perfect and Kate is a wonderful host.

A lovely place to stay, so quiet, peaceful and relaxing with wonderful views over the river. The cottage had everything we needed and the continental breakfast provided was delicious (especially the raspberries and bluberries) It's a great location for visiting all our favourite places with lovely walks along the river. lots of information was provoded, we defintely hope to return.

Being rudely awoken by the ridiculously beautiful birdsong of nesting wrens right outside the bedroom window. Joking, a perfect break!

A fantastic location looking out across the river Alde towards Snape Maltings and a wonderful array of birds with easy access to the coastal walk. Great breakfasts with local produce, the owners really look after your every need.

No downsides whatsoever.

Fabulous location with wonderful views over the River Alde. Spacious accommodation which was tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. Fresh produce for the continental breakfast which was replenished daily. Conveniently situated for nearby Snape Maltings where our daughter was performing in a Britten-Pears recital at the end of a young artists week. Everything was perfect.

This was a trip for my mum who had a great time. Kate was very welcoming and the location was fantastic. Just what she needed with lots in the local area and great walks on the doorstep.

A magical place to stay, lovely inside & out of the cottage, excellent facilities, continental breakfast, fresh milk, butter, apple juice, bread, cereal, fresh raspberries, & yoghurt..beautiful clean linen on the beds, clean towels..wonderful views, great places to walk to especially if it's not high tide you can walk along the river to Iken church or to Snape Maldings. The host are very friendly, if there was anything you needed or directions they will try to oblige. Would definitely stay there again.

The grassed walkway down from the carpark would benefit from some paving slabs for additional safety.

The peaceful setting by the River Iken was a true delight. The Continental-style breakfast was excellent..the fresh bread, raspberries and yoghurt were delicious.!

Its location is outstanding. Tha views from every window are stunning. There is plenty of garden furniture to sit outside and admire the scenery and bird life. We saw spoonbills . The decor is fresh and the bed linen and beds are very comfortable . We slept well both nights. The hosts were very friendly but not intrusive. The breakfast arrangements were very good as was the breakfast. The area and walks are lovely. It’s the ideal place to stay to get a taste of Suffolk.

Beautiful view of the river/estuary from the property. The interior is beautifully decorated in serene colours and feels very cosy and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable with really high quality bedding, shower was excellent too and breakfast was good produce.
