Not very clear where to report upon arrival as there are a few buildings within this farmstead. The bedroom radiator went off automatically at 7pm during a cold night and I couldn't manually override it. I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment.

Natalie, the host, was especially welcoming and friendly. Very nice lady.

The postcode takes you to the rear of the property, there are signs directing you to the front. That's a proper country road. don't drive fast on that road, unless you have a proper offroader.

The people were friendly and patient. I reached at 2200 hrs at the farm, as expected it was a little late but they accommodated me with a smile. There was tea facility in the room and an ensuite. It was fairly warm, considering it was Scotland. There were some places to order food from. The bathroom was for even the disabled person, it was spacious. I was provided with towels. The double bed was comfortable. There was a folding single bed in the room as well. There was wifi but I did not use it, as I have unlimited data. The breakfast room was open at 0700 hrs. I had to reach a course so I had to set off early, the lady said to leave the keys in the room, and so I did. Breakfast was a simple choice of milk, tea, coffee, orange juice, toast, croissants, Cereals, and instant noodles. There was a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge in the breakfast room. There was cutlery, plates, bowls, and cups in the breakfast room.

Breakfast was limited. By the 2nd day we needed more toilet paper but could find none in the room and were unable to contact the host.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and heat was quite adequate.

Access to the farm. The road was not well healed.

The property was self contained, well equipped, comfortable abode. The host greeted me and made me very welcome. Would I go back. Definitely. Breakfast was a bonus with cereal , jam and toast.

Breakfast is very basic. Unrestricted access to tea and coffee and milk was a nice surprise. There is no sink in the kitchen/dining area.

Very good for short stay. It has all that you might need for one night. Good place to rest on your journey to or from Highlands.

I arrived in the dark and it wasn't immediately obvious where to book in - but that's something and nothing & easily made up by Natalie the owner - she is a gem. :)

The location is near to the A73 but road noise isn't an issue - but the location is ideal for easy access. Sprawling area amongst the farm buildings - you are NOT in the home owners house - it is a seperate entity entirely - which is easy going, friendly and private. Breakfast is continental and self serve - yet again in a communal area not attached to owners house.... so again - it's private for guests and easy going. 100% I would stay here again due to nice staff, nice surorundings, clean and decent facilities and easy going aspect to whole stay.

Neither Apple Maps nor Google Maps could precisely pinpoint the entry to the property. On my second time past, I saw the signage attached to a gate to direct me to another road to find the driveway. Perhaps this could be explained in the listing. It took quite a few minutes to find someone to check in with.

Just seemed a little 'impersonal' in some way, but others might find that a good thing.

Large room, with large en-suite shower room / loo. Everything clean and tidy - everything worked. 'Do it yourself' breakfast - so no time constraints. Easy parking.
