I stayed one night in a pod and one in a dorm due to availability. The pod was great. However, the dorm was awful. I couldn't sit upright in bed due to the bunk above me being so low and hit my head on it multiple times (I am 5"4). The room was really crammed also.

Not enough toilets, only 3 for all the dorms, very small badly ventilated showers with only window in bathroom area caulked shut.

The toilet being quite far from my room was an incomitance but didn't bother me, the showers being cold was more of shock to my sore and slightly hungover state than anything else.

The Bed was very comfy for a hostel, the room was spacious and the under bed storage that was lockable was a bonus! I was able to pre-check in via the app which was cool and able to leave my suitcase there before I checked in.

Room decoration was slightly kitsch and gauche but suits its surroundings (a dance club) and intended guests. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom like a shelf and a towel rail.

Excellent location; convenient to everything in Glasgow and mostly accessible on foot. My room was large and airy with a huge bathroom. It was adequate for all my needs.

Not a very social hostel. I would’ve appreciated some more engaging hostel events. I found it hard to socialise with people at this hostel as the hostel didn’t advertise their social events much + one of the events I was aware was a tea and biscuit sit down or something which no one went to, the common areas were often dead.

Comfortable beds albeit they are triple bunk beds and you can’t sit up on them which is a pain. Big and secure lockers to lock your luggage in was good. The hostel generally was clean and in good condition. Privacy, black out curtains on the bunks were appreciated. Checking in and checking out was seamless and staff were friendly.

Sinks in the bathroom were not draining properly, unable to sleep properly due to noise (music) downstairs and people drinking/talking by the streets. Provided earplugs though and it was a cheap stay.

I think more showers/ toilets should be available for the dormitory. 1 for 8 people is not enough. Unless there were others that I was not aware of on the floor

The shared bathroom is just one toilet and shower which was for two dorms- 16 people. The toilet was also roasting as heating was on full blast

The bed in the middle of the bunk bed is a bit uncomfortable. At least a microwave would be nice.

We hated the showers. Most of them are in these tiny rooms with soaking wet floors no shelves at all, and half of them are broken (either the door or the shower itself). Some toilet doors were broken, too. Surely, it should be easy enough to fix.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The location is good, and the common area is very pretty.
