Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A really nice clean hotel that we did stay at a few years ago but one we usually pass on our way to somewhere else. The property has definitely improved since our last stay. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was very good, and clearly popular. The breakfast in particular was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Fabulous location for our trip on the Northumberland 250. Welcoming, spacious beautiful clean room. Exceedingly dog friendly doggy welcome goody bag and sausage for breakfast. 🐕 Amazing evening meal, great beer, wine 🍷 selection. Extensive menu 😋 Breakfast outstanding. Great value not ripped off! A really great friendly vibe. All the staff first class a big shout out to Jo! Highly recommend, we will definately be returning

Absolutely blown away by the value of this stay. Did not expect much for the price but the room was absolutely spotless. Beautiful location as well. Breakfast was fantastic as was the dinner we stopped in for. Again, didn’t expect Much for the price but the quality and portion sizes exceeded expectations. This stay has now set the precedent for future travels and we shall definitely be back to explore the locality a bit more.

Excellent pub/hotel close to the Scottish border. Very comfortable, with friendly helpful staff. Very good evening meal and breakfast - we were glad we booked for the evening as the bar seemed full, but the staff helpfully made space without any fuss for another couple who had not booked. Loads of parking space; walks from the door. This was a one-night stopover but would be a great place to stay for longer, if like us you like to be miles from anywhere but comfortable!
