Perfect place for a weekend retreat to Rye. Gill was a fantastic host (we didn't see Brian) - she gave us great tips on local walks and the breakfast was amazing! There were so many nice little touches in the room that really made us feel welcome. We wouldn't recommend anywhere else to stay in Rye!

Our hosts were attentive, the facilities (room, en suite, dining room), very clean. The breakfast was great with good choice of food and beautifully served. Our room was cleaned daily.

I can’t say there was anything really. Just a couple things that I noticed. The toilet is very high. I’m only 5.1 so couldn’t touch the floor 😃 and a shame there was no hair conditioner to go with the shampoo (I forgot mine).

Everything- like that it only has 2 rooms and the welcome drinks in the fridge along with a big bottle of cold water. Lots to choose from on the breakfast menu too. Hill and Brain are lovely. Thank you!

An outside porch light might be helpful but, otherwise, nothing we didn't like.

Host very welcoming and helpful. Large bedroom and bathroom. Convenient for town centre, walking distance. Clean and stylish.

The room was extremely comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was truly excellent, going above and beyond expectations. Location is close to the center and train station. Gill really has the B&B down to a science.

Nothing. I have been visiting Rye for years, stayed in many B&Bs and hotels, Red Cottage is one of the exceptional ones. Highly recommend.

Very warm and responsive host. Little welcome touches in the room, fridge with milk and other goodies, to local supplied toiletries in bathroom - all appreciated and added to the stay. Off street car parking was great, plus as easy 5 min walk to station and town centre.

There was nothing not to like.

We stayed in the Tilling room. The bed was super soft and comfy. Facilities were clean. Host, Gill, was very helpful and we even had 2 small bottles of prosecco left in our mini fridge which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious and of a very high quality. We couldn't fault our stay.

We felt comfortable staying in this lovely bed and breakfast accommodation. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was spacious and inviting with a generous en suite bathroom. Little touches like milk in the fridge and champagne as well were much appreciated. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. All in all a wonderful stay.

Lovely B&B. Very friendly hosts. We arrived early and were able to check in and leave the car for the day - only a 5 minute wander into Rye centre. A lovely bright room with a big sleigh bed. Plenty of toiletries and towels. Several extra touches with lots of hot drinks to choose from, fresh milk, bottled water and 2 mini Prosecco in the fridge. Local shower gel, shampoo & moisturiser- smelt lovely! Breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from. Got a bit hot in the night but it is February and it was a very mild weekend. Would happily stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Lovely, friendly hosts. Beautiful house, a very comfortable, private room. Peaceful & relaxing. Breakfast was amazing. Lovely touches...bubbly in the fridge along with a great selection of teas, coffee & hot chocolate. Off road parking, which is great. Minutes walk to the town!
