An en-suite bathroom would have been preferable, rather than having to go on the landing to access our bathroom.....just a little odd.

It was really unclean. The floor was disgusting, I don’t think under the bed has ever been cleaned and it’s thick with dust and hair and all sorts of rubbish. There were also maltesers dropped on the floor which our dog found as soon as we arrived - we were lucky to notice before racking up a huge vet bill with a poisoned dog ! The shower was also very slow to drain and clearly had a backlog of hair/soap down the plug hole from previous guests.

It was a great location for the wedding we were attending and we were pleased it was dog friendly and had parking. It was reasonably well-equipped for what we needed.

50% of Kitchen area lightbulbs blown. The shower needs a once over with so mould and mildew remover. I suspect that guests just don’t turn the extract on. Shower gel dispensers etc were all empty. Milk sachets were off.

Great easy self check in. Perfect overnighter en route to Scotland. One big family friendly room / kitchen. Pub just down the road is a 3 min walk and really friendly.

Location was great for us. Close to Penrith and the motorway. Bed was comfy and shower was hot and power shower which was great. Full info given prior to visit with details on location and food options nearby which was all very helpful thank you.

Not clean at all, lots of dust, remote broken, looked dated, carpets unvacuumed. We had a private bathroom but it was not en suite. Lots of crap underneath the bed- socks, old deodorant etc etc. Our 2 y.o looks everywhere so thats how we found out. So I rather think its a Hostel for younger travellers who dont care much for cleanliness. Not that suitable for a family with a small child. That place needs a proper cleaning. I dont mind simple interior but cleanliness is a must. Seems to be a problem in many privatly owned accommodations in the UK. So now more hesitant to book them unfortunately.

Very nice and quiet location. Lots of sightseeing possibiities. Penrith just a short drive away where You have shops, restaurants etc. Owner Chris sent lots of good information before arrival. Easy to find. Beddings didnt smell like a chemistry fabric like at most privatly owned accommodations. Spacious house. Had a dining table downstairs but no kitchen corner. Or we just didnt have access to it.

Floor was not vacuumed. Everything else was okay.

It was spacious. Owners were very sweet and friendly. They made us feel comfortable.

There was a problem with the bathroom but the hosts were unaware of it. We also forgot to take some kitchen essentials. Unfortunately they weren't at the accommodation either.

Very happy with our brief stay at Rebel's Hide. Ideally located (for our visit) just outside Penrith in a quiet residential area. It surpassed our expectations and we were very happy with our stay. Good communication and instruction from the hosts. The best recommendation I can give is that we would be happy to stay there again. Many thanks 🙂

The third bed being under the other single. To be able to sleep a more socially acceptable distance away, I slept on the mattress on the floor by the sofa as the pullout bed was claustrophobically close to the other two. I appreciate it is probably meant for a child than for adult use.

Sweet little studio flat. Well furnished. Very convenient distance from Shap where overnight event occuring. Self service check in useful.

Unfortunately the confirmation email of our booking had not address or telephone number of the property on it we wanted to ring them to say we would be about an hour late, Spent a good half hour trying to find the location after a long day traveling even the bar code thing didn't work! I don't know if this was booking.com problem or the owners, got the phone number from one of the other apartment residents when we arrived and managed to phone to get details as to where our apartment was. also wanted to ring them before arriving to say we would be about an hour late

It was very hot. I got told u could use the kitchen and living room but the door to those rooms was locked the whole stay. I never once saw the owner either.

The room was clean and had a TV. We could come in and leave when we liked.

No staff there on arrival, the door was open and we had to find our rooms by looking at our original booking. Packets of Porridge left out in the dining area but the kitchen was full of laundry drying on airers and was not clean. . The local pub we were advised to use for evening meal was closed.

The location was ideal, lovely apartment for an overnight stay. The hosts were superb. Penrith is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat and drink.

Nothing really, seemed a bit odd there being nobody to direct you to thr room and it all being open ,ready to use If I'm being really picky the toilet seat needs tightening down as do the sink taps but made no difference to ue

Property was good except 1.The shower gel was empty and even on repeated request, it was not provided. 2.The owner was rude in saying to the kid not to play on the premises .
