The location was perfect for exploring local National Trust Properties. Breakfast was perfect. The property was immaculate. The host was brilliant - even with communication before we arrived. The welcome form the beautiful dogs was also appreciated!

The B&B is magnificent, the attention to detail is remarkable. We received an outstanding welcome from the delightful owner, Nick, who looked after us with great style. What a great host. Nothing is missed here. This is hospitality, as it should be. Fantastic value.

There is nothing I didnt like there at all.

The location for us was perfect as it was central to everything we needed to do. The breakfast was so nice, could have had whatever we wanted and was all cooked freshly and garnished beautifully. There are very quirky condiments on the table, which fit in to whole feel of the place. The guest house is beautifully decorated to such a very high standard, no expense spared by them, so much attention to detail is given throughout. Our room was extremely comfortable , very light and airy and had tea and coffee making facilities in there. There was a gorgeous four poster bed, which had all been upholstered to such a high standard as did the rest of the place. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so friendly and welcoming right from the start. They have the most beautiful dogs which live there, and as a dog lover it was wonderful having the dogs coming to see us and wandering in for breakfast. There is nothing I can say that is negative about this place as everything was just perfect. The location is practically central to railway, bus station, town. If you ever get the chance To go there you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic breakfast. Eccentric place, but a great place to stay. The decor is extraordinary. It's very plush and quite unique. Quiet, leafy, and fairly posh part of Mansfield. Old characterful house in large gardens. Friendly owners.

Arrived last minute, met by Nick (owner) who couldn't do enough for me. Lovely room in a fab house. Particularly liked the blend between antique and modern (Alexa). Mood lighting all over was special touch. Great B&B. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of little touches everywhere. Would recommend and will stay again when I'm next in Mansfield, thank you Nick!

How water on the sink taps wasn't great and I thought there was a problem with the shower, but it was just that it took a while to get hot.

Really friendly owner. The accommodation was just like the pictures, stylish and cool with a good personal touch. We smiled and joked together as the owner thought my surname was Hemsworth... Thor would have been proud of the fresh fruit breakfast starter followed by an excellent cooked selection. We'll come back and recommend it to others.
