We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomRoom - pillows were too firm and gave me a crick in the neck. Fusion restaurant was disappointing - the service was poor (we felt that we were an inconvenience) and the choice of food was very limitied (allergy to shellfish, meant that I could not have anything fried even if it did not contain shellfish as all fried foods use the same oil). If we return to Ramside we will not be dining in Fusion.
Room (Suite) was spacious and excellent value; Rib Room Restaurant was very good, both service (nothing was too much trouble) and food (my wife had the 'best' steak ever) - excellent wine.

United KingdomLord of devices with lights in the rooms, and doors are very much not sound proofed, you can hear people walking and talking quite clearly which took a bit of the luxury away. Also found it quite complicated to actually get a spa pass organised.
Decor was very very nice, food was great. And location is very close to central Durham but with a countryside feel.

United KingdomAbit disappointed it is advertised as SPA access but really you can only use the swimming pool. No one explained this to us so we did end up using the main spa before we were told by one of the pool side assistants we couldn’t. Ordered breakfast for between 9-9:30. Came before 9 and staff banging on the door to deliver it.
Room was a great size, meal at the rib room was very good value. Swimming pool changing room and area is nice.
