Poor lighting, no main lighting at all, there were 2 bedside lights (1 broken) and a lamp. If you wanted to read, none of the lighting was bright enough. Very hot room but no air conditioning. The weather wasn't even very warm, the radiators weren't on but the room was so warm. The window could only open a couple of inches. We tried the fusion restaurant. The wrappers of the dim sum were ok but soggy, the duck spring rolls were in a layer of grease on the plate. We asked for glasses of water with our cocktails, we never received them.

Very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. The room was very spacious. The reception staff were extremely helpful.

The only thing I could fault is the limit applied to accessing the leisure facilities, you only get 1 hour access and if people are staying in a hotel they may want to make full use of these.

Room was lovely and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of selection and we attended the Abba party night on the evening which was great.

In the bar had to order food and drink separately. As the celebration suite was expensive possibly a good idea for guests to be allowed into hydrotherapy pool. Lack of information in the room about services

The cleaning was poor when we got to our rooms to say we waited 3 hours for them to sort it and my partner stepped in a needle and pierced his foot there wasn’t any toilet roll either

Fire alarm at 4 in thr morning someone smoking. Only 1 hour usage of facilitys(pool)could not use before 1500hrs

We booked a spa package, and to be honest, it was not worth the money that we paid. It was very expensive for what we got. Also informed the hotel that I planned on proposing to my partner while we were there and asked if they had any recommendations of where to do it or even if they could make the room presentable for such an occasion to there reply, 'over £100 pounds for a few rose petals on the bed which I thought was ridiculously priced and they couldn't recommend anywhere in there own hotel that was nice enough to do the proposal. I was very disappointed with the trip our room had mould in the bathroom and it wasn't the cleanest not for the price we paid.

The food in the Asian fusion was absolutely beautiful, and the prices for alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced. we were expecting it to be a lot more expensive... although we didn't get breakfast included, and it was another £31.90 in the morning, and after paying so much for the room, I would have thought breakfast was included

the only small issues I encountered was that our room was incredibly hot & uncomfortable for sleeping. disappointed I was unable to have an omelette for breakfast which I have had and enjoyed on previous stays.

Some of the lights didn’t work in 236 but apart from that it was okay

Rooms were average and charging for standard amenities, such as a toothbrush - as I forgot mine - is poor for a 4 star hotel. Additionally a 1 hour slot for spa access is insufficient.

Paid £45 per person to upgrade for the spa facilities and was absolutely packed barely any beds available in the spa area so spent most the time waiting for people to leave but beds were reserved with towels and no one came for 30/60 minutes for them.

Breakfast was fantastic, infusion restaurant was delicious, all of the restaurant staff and reception staff were very polite and friendly.
