The WiFi was not very good and would not connect to our phones or the tv, therefore if you are travelling for work this could be an issue.

Good check in / out times. The room and amenities were good and everything you could need was provided in the room or throughout the hotel. The location was excellent.

The elevators seemed to take ages. Just to get to reception seemed to take ages. The parking add-on is extortionately expensive.

The USB point by the bed didn't work and there was no main room lighting, which I would like the option of. Reception staff were friendly and phoned room to check everything was okay, which was appreciated

Good location for city centre, fantastic views from 17th floor. The room was ideal for two of us. we were able to park nearby in an NCP car park. Would definitely use again (we come to Cardiff several times a year)

Parking garage is very tight, and you have to lift your luggage up and down a short flight of stairs. The entrance and exit to the parking garage is the same, which is very confusing.

Overall while the staff and location were great, the room was a bit basic, with basic coffee and toiletries. I’d expect more from a 4*. There was also lots of dust and grime around the floor of our room, so it wasn’t the cleanest I’ve stayed in. I’d stay again though for the location.

The property is perfectly situated to central Cardiff. The staff were so great and attentive, ringing to check if we were happy with our room and letting us check in early as the room was ready in the morning. The beds are comfy.

Requested a cot for two year old, which was provided and all ready upon arrival, but with no bedding of any description, including no sheet to cover the base. Went to ask for some but was told that this could not be provided. I don't know if this is policy for this particular chain but I know from personal experience that certain other chains do provide this. Stayed two nights. Came back to hotel after our only full day there to discover that towels not changed, beds not made and room not cleaned.

Room furniture was chipped and dated the carpet dirty and tap for cold water for bath and shower would not turn so couldn’t have either had to wash in the sink not hygienic.

Expensive parking. Had to look for a spot some minutes away to find something cheaper. Wasn't that bad since there are some options close by.

The rooms were really good and exactly as described. The location was fantastic...right in the middle of the city and close to most of the hot tourist spots, restaurants and markets. The breakfast was very very good. Had a good variety, was delicious and most importantly, was fresh!

There was a huge what I thought was a closet in a corner which when I opened turned out to be a sheer drop down the building with what was probably the laundry chute. This door should have been locked! One more light bulb is needed in the corridor of the room, it’s a little too dark.

Location, facilities in the room, delicious breakfast, friendly staff (especially at the reception), and the ability to leave our bags at the hotel after check out till we boarded our train.

There was a huge stain on the room carpet next to the bed which really shouldn’t have been there and it showed be resolved for future guests We did mention this to reception and did expect a response from management but we haven’t received any communication

There was a graduation celebration that evening and the bar staff were too few and under pressure. Even though they did a fabulous job the hotel could have been better prepared staff-wise.

Quick check in, quick check out. Great atmosphere created by a Graduation celebration. Staff helpful, Hotel in great location, room secure and quiet. Breakfast had everything that you'd want.

Even on 11th floor the noise from the bar and outside was quite loud. Better soundproofing would be good!

The location of the hotel is perfect for the Principality Stadium. The bed and shower were both good.
