Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe food was amazing although it was a bit pricey. The food to be honest was exceptional we just didn't expect or appreciate a 12 and a half percent surcharge ontop of an already highly priced menu. There was only 2 of us, I thought surcharges are usually for bigger groups. I can't fault the food but the surcharge was a bit much.
I couldn't fault the hotel, it was lovely. The room was great, the facilities were clean. The food was amazing. The pool was a little smaller than we expected but it was great, it was clean and it wasnt too cold. Everything was clean and tidy, the staff was lovely, it was an overall great stay.

Chinathe shower gel bottle is empty when to bath.
It is a convenient hotel within easy access for the main road. The ground floor room is quiet without hearing the noise from the road. The breakfast is busy with quite a lot of fruits and hot food.

United KingdomCouldn't turn the radiator in the bedroom off, which made the room rather hot in the night. A walk in shower would have been easier to get into rather than climbing into a bath to shower.
Great Location and staff very friendly and helpful. Only stayed 1 night so did not use the gym. Also didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.

AustraliaThe rooms were a little tired and in need of an upgrade but we were informed before hand that the hotel was in the process of renervations. We were shown to our room via the dinning room/bar and this led to a flight of stairs ( no lift that I could see) fortunately there was a member of staff on hand to help with luggage. Bar prices on the high side!
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and we also enjoyed a light lunch which was also lovely. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Overall it suited our needs and we had a pleasant stay.
