Quiet, clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room on arrival, which the lady on the desk sorted out very quickly, and was very apologetic - excellent customer service.

Room got quite warm but there was a fan so wasn’t too bad

All of the staff were lovely, we felt very welcome, room was great size, nice big bath sheets, cot provided and an extra bin for nappies which was so thoughtful!

No air conditioning but a fan was provided. Disappointed the swimming pool was closed due to maintenance.

Beautiful setting with stunning grounds. The bedroom was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was ultra modern.

Nothing to complain about.

Very friendly and accommodating staff at the hotel. Nice food and amazingly spacious bedroom with large bed. Breakfast buffet was good. The use of the spa was free and although a little outdated in terms of decor, it had all the facilities you could want, was very clean and the staff very friendly. It’s not for exclusive use by hotel guests so booking in advance is recommended.

Bathroom could have been better. Probably due a refurbishment, with a better shower. Not big enough shower screen on the bath so a lot of water went on the floor.

We really liked the hotel. We had a large quiet room with comfortable beds on the ground floor which was helpful. The breakfast was good and the staff at breakfast were very helpful as one of us needed to be dairy free. Parking on site was good with easy access.

Amazing Victorian period building, architecture is fantastic combined with modern facilities. Pool & sauna, steam room relaxing & welcome. The food from the breakfast to the evening meal were great in quality taste & presentation. Staff made you feel welcome & valued. Great nights sleep. Would definitely recommend & will return.

One member of staff seemed a little bit annoyed when I asked her for a couple of lattes in the lounge area. Bit all the other staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Not a lot! Couple of minor points - no plug sockets near the bed made it difficult for medical equipment but having struggled in many hotels, I did pack an extension lead. The stair case bannisters leading to room 63 were a bit rickety and don’t fill you with confidence. But honestly the hotel is very likeable and pretty. The bathroom could do with a little update but was perfectly fine. Room booked for 3, but only 2 bath towels provided. TV wasn’t great but we made our own entertainment anyway!

Beautiful looking property and really quite nice inside and out. We stayed in room 63 which was perfect for three of us on a girls trip after wedding dress shopping near by. We didn’t eat in the restaurant for dinner but did have breakfast here which was spot on. The morning waitresses were just lovely and the food was very well cooked and it was a small but perfectly formed selection.

This hotel was situated in nice quiet location and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was great, spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom also had a great power shower too! Had a meal in the hotel restaurant which was excellent top class really enjoyed it! Can't fault this place I will definitely be staying there again when I'm in the area!

The facilities close too early on weekends, it’s odd that the pool closes at 6pm on a Saturday but much later on weekdays. You hardly have time to enjoy a swim after arrival

I liked the room size, it was spacious! I also liked that I could call reception for water and they’d arrive within minutes, very hospitable.

The Gym is absolutely shocking & my husband was very disappointed with the obvious lack of weights.

Lovely building with exceptional customer service. Outside Jacuzzi was very nice. Decent Veggie Sausages & overall breakfast was acceptable. Limited Vegan options on dinner menu but what I had was very nice. Lovely spacious room no 69 with beautiful views. Loved that room was very warm
